    Default DDO Site needs revamp

Ok, so by now the Devs have probably had enough of me and with good reason, I am the guy that says what is on his mind when it comes to what DDO is lacking and could be better if they did.

What this site really lacks is an active dev group. I have visited other MMO sites and have seen a very large amount of activity. They have contest and events, things that keep the players entertained and active.

They also have a robust site, whereas DDO is still sort of lacking in the features and what can you do at the site when they have the servers down for hours on hours during updates.

Give us something that makes it worth paying a subscription fee for.

The PvP boards were a great start, but you all left the ball rolling on that one. It never even worked and while you all were trying to get that going you could have added Monk, Druid or even gnomes to the game.

Ok, enough for now. Remember, I am not just a player, I am a subscriber!

You know, oddly enough, I am somewhat ok with DDO's website. It is about on par with other game site. Which means it is woefully incomplete and sometimes hard to navigate. But, you can usually get what you want from it, or at least partially.

What really strikes me as odd about DDO is the lack of player driven fan sites. DDO Wiki is the primary one out there. Ten-Ton Hammer posts stuff occasionally as well. Can't even remember the names of the others I used to see.

When you google for sites, the majority of them don't seem to have been updated in the past few months. -- Search google for all sites mentioning DDO updated in the last month (wikki won't show up on this)

That would be because most people try DDO and they end up back at the other MMO's that have way more races and classes. I have even begun checking them out because I want something other than the nine they give us to choose from. Add the fact you can only have 7(5 normal, 2 upon achieving favor) character slots that start as only 5.

The fan sites aren't there cause there isn't much fans.
