Angry Please: no more Risia-related announcements in the Standard client login!

Those who have the Risia client or care about Risia in the slightest, by definition, read the forums. They can get Risia related news there or when they launch the Risia client.

Those who don't know what Risia is, or know but don't care, really don't need to see Risia related messages when they log into the normal client. It's a waste. It can also be confusing to new players who see news about a server that isn't in their world list.

I wonder how many new players saw the current Risia message and thought Risia referred to the DDO game setting (actually Xen'drik) and thought they'd be getting +1 loot and bonus XP on the standard client this weekend?

...anyhow, I'm sick of the Risia spam and I imagine a lot of other people are too. Please restrain it to where only Risians have to smell it.

    Default Actually, I enjoy it....

Everytime I see a Risia message I wonder how many people will misread the message and complain later. I get no end of enjoyment out of that.

Sorry but if you read the whole message it's not that difficult to establish that it is not on your/the regular servers.
By them displaying this in the regular client, they may attract more people to the risia server.
Risia spam? How much info are you getting dumped on you?

Just the ones that can't read, never bothered to learn anything about the game they play, and might now be aware there is a server out there that offers a chance to view the content before it is "officially" released.

[Sarcasm]I say no more announcements. They just confuse people. They might not know that they are playing DDO and not WoW and log into World of Warcraft this weekend.[/Sarcasm]

It's a valid message if only as a way to let the non-forum reading population know that there is a preview server, if for no other reason.

Are you really that bothered by the... at tops... 1 risia related message a month?

Wouldn't it be easier to say "oh, this quarter's risia message. *click* now on to play the game!"
