Experience Potions.

During Times of Development mistakes, or what not... instead of handing out dragon shards (which are largely useless in the long run), hand out Xp Potions which can be gulped and will provide a decent amount of XP for the level. Make them bound and non-tradable and provide XP based on level.

on point though, experience isn't really that hard to come by, and "leveling quickly" just makes people feel a lack of content when they hit the top before exploring most of the game.

I feel a more substantial reward would be beneficial to the playerbase, rather than just another shard.

The Shard being one of two things, utility, or Gold. For many people it's an unnecessary utility, as though the developers simply dropped cash into their bank account.

The Experience Potion would be extremely useful to just about anyone, and for those who did not want it, it could be vendored off for a substantial sum. Say 100K at highest levels.

on point though, experience isn't really that hard to come by, and "leveling quickly" just makes people feel a lack of content when they hit the top before exploring most of the game.

I'm not suggesting they hand us free levels. But say, 5-10% of the XP needed for the level at higher levels. I mean heck, at level 10, that's right around a free PoP run without the loot.

Factor in how often developers really need to say "I'm Sorry" and it's not that big of a deal in the long run, but it's infinitely more beneficial than a dragon shard.

If you want easy go play LOTRO or WOW, yes they have more users but they pander to the lowest common denominator, we tend to attract those who are looking for something different

Not only that Asp but capped characters invest that 20 mins just for a shot at the loot that comes out of POP. The thought that it would ever be a waste of a characters time is mind boggling...

My image goes a little farther....I see a level 14 (or one who talks like one) who doesn't know how to play the game, making rediculous posts that serve no purpose but to start long flame threads and get a lot of people talking about something rediculous.
