It's the worst examples that get the notice. In my studies, there appears to be a lot of great folks indigenous to Argo, and this includes a good number of people who would have you believe in the false mythology of their notoriety.

The biggest reason one would notice truly negative personalities here is the fact that there are so many more of every kind of people that we were used to on Mabar. Welcome to the big city!

The thing is that MABAR was a tiny server and I was very active on MABAR's forum thus am familiar with a strong majority of the population (both forum and server proper). Its the lack of forum postings by formerly active people from Mabar that have been ganked after posting on the Argo forum that lead to my original post. Of course not all Argo's are to blame, nor are all former Mabarian's innocent, I just figured I would shake the bushes in hopes of drawing out the best of Argonessian and not just the circling forum buzzards. (not calling you a buzzard Lews )

I seem to remember some Mabarians coming up with some posts where they overreacted to the response, once few people came in to support them. I don't remember anybody being exceedingly nasty.

the agro forum is made up from about the same 15 people that post i wouldent base the whole sever off them, just a thought

I think the nastiness your refering to was probibly involving a single person vs the rest of the forum. And my basic understanding of it was that hewas being really annoying to everyone and when some people started anoying back he called everyone names.

everyone here that I've played with is nice (except Lessah) . Its a bit easier to find a group then on mabar as there usally isn't the shortage of support toons (clerics, rogues, bards).

Yeah, for the most part - at least from my knothole - I usually post on the forums mean and nasty when I've had a meeting or something at work and I can't just yell and scream at the guberment guy. So, I come on here, talk some trash talk, and when I get in game... do it all again!

It's true, we act mean and tough, but on a whole the Argo people are very helpful and as long as - in game - you can play, take a joke, and just enjoy things, then no problems.

Forums... well, that's when the boredom comes out and plays - and the more blood, the more spectators.

One thing that is amazingly fun about Argo is the people who role play their characters on the forums. They shouldn't upset you any more than any other encounter in Stormreach. In fact, they are an added value!

Perhaps I haven't ran with enough Tinted Faces folks. The couple I have quested with were excellent and helpful players. If I weren't already in a great guild, I would be trying to find a way to join them. The same is true of most people who I have met on Argo.
