We know he only wrote the screenplay (the studio wouldn't let him direct it, but they did give him a pretty good sum for it) but it's his movie he wrote the everything, the dialouge the is all him, you can see how simliar it is to all his other work as well....

Snatch is definately one of my favorite movies

hey what was the name of the kiddy movie with that little kid that got stuck in a fairy tale book and he had the huge dog that flew him around while he had to do all this adventuring to save this little ice princess girl.

his name was sebastian, the dogs name was falcor i think, and i remember always looking forward to that scene with the twin stone statue chicks that had the cleavage.

...man cant think of the name of that movie at all

No I didn't... see my earlier post. I love this movie. Good music!!! (Would you like whale sperm with that?)

All good movies listed... Though honestly Smoking Aces irritated me. Snatch and Lock, Stock and two Smoking Barrels was awesome. Natural Born Killers rocked. No one mentioned Heat yet, and I always thought of that as an awesome flick.

Did someone mention Zombie flicks? I love em. The two Evil Dead movies proove that you can make millions off $20K in Kayro Syrup and red food coloring (can't really count Army of Darkness, it actually had a budget. But it still rocked!) And we can't forget Shaun of the dead, 28 days later, the Living dead series, Dawn/Day/Night of the Dead, and CHUD!!!

You young punks need to spend sometime with Stanley Kubrick.

    2001
    The Shining
    Full Metal Jacket
    A Clockwork Orange

And others. One of my favourite quotes of all time from Full Metal Jacket, "How can you just shoot women and children like that? It's easy, I just don't lead them as much".

And the all time greatest, Doctor Strangelove. "Gentlemen please, no fighting in the war room".

How could I have not mentioned Guy Ritchie's films!!!! Lock-Stock and Snatch are very, very good. And I am a huge Kubrick fan so I dig that list as well. Heck, I even liked Eyes Wide Shut for the Kubrick style cinematography even if the story was horrid. Also, Peter Jackson's early stuff is a hoot: Bad Taste and Braindead (aka Dead Alive). Also Memento, Requiem for a Dream, and

    Meepo

PS CHUD FTW!!!!!! ("And that's when the Chuds came after me....", Homer J. Simpson)

And the hilarity of the whole scene with the inflatable doll as the autopilot is beyond description. Not to mention every time you see the plane flying, it's got propeller drone instead of turbine engine sound, a very subtle insertion that absolutely has anyone in aviation in complete stitches.
