    Default Reaver Deathroom Window

Something has been kinda bugging me for a while with the Reaver raid. (Slight Spoiler Warning!)

When you die, you get sent to this room above the Reaver's main chamber. Your soul stone gets sent up there too and you're tied to it. And there's also that force that ties you back in case you move too far away from your stone.

But here's what bugs me. There's a blue forcefield that overlooks onto the main reaver chamber. To me, this looks like a window put in the room for the purpose of watching the battle unfold to at least give death a little excitement. The thing is though, there's no way to actually look out of that window. Your soul stone is placed too far away from the window to stay there for long, but even if you could just stand next to window, that force pulls you back before you get close.

Thing is, I'm not sure if this is a bug, or intended. If it is a bug, please fix it. If it is intended, I would like if the mechanics would be slightly reworked. It would be nice if when you're dead, you could at least look out the window and root your companions on to victory.

Stop dying all the time and it won't be a problem seeing what happens in the raid, coldin!

    Seriously, though.. I agree.

You can watch the battle when you're dead, just watch the blue dots on your map fly around because of the elementals and the red health bars get knocked down when there's reverse gravity!

That's not the purpose of the OP's request. He just wants to watch the battle with the Reaver, not call out spinning orbs. Someone from the main chamber should be doing that anyway. So, why did you post with a sarcastic response again? Reading, ftw...

Frankly Impaqt, I'm not seeing what the big deal is about seeing the spinning skulls. I mean, someone on the ground can always keep track of that with a quick look up, and there's even a DM text that tells you when all the orbs are lit anyway.

I'm just asking that since we're dead and can't do anything else for the whole raid, why can't we use that convenient window placed in the room already to see how our team is doing.

I agree Coldin, most of the time everyone gets through the raid without dying, but everynow and then **** happens and you die. It would be nice to at least be able to watch.

Meh...don't mind him Coldin. I think he must've had a bad day at work or something. Otherwise, he would just be posting in this particualr tone to get a rise out of us...and that would just be childlike...possibly even infantile.

ROFL! Like MadB said...it's the Nazi filter at work. Which is why we all love House T, Bro. It's where we can spew our righteous indignation with all of the colorful metaphors we can dream up.

Well if you ever make it up there alive, just know that you can see the battle and see the timer also. Makes sense enough IMO, the person up there doesn't only have to pull the switch, he can also help coordinate...when you're dead, you're dead, you shouldn't even be able to relay info back to your group IMO if you're dead anyways. So think of it in that regard.

Actually, when you put it in that light...it makes sense. Thanks for your non-sarcastic explanation. Our groups never send anyone in that direction to bring back the dead. We send up one person to pull the other switch and that's it.

However, having been in the boring room a couple of times from sheer stupidity, I understand exactly where Andy is coming from. We're usually just druming our ghostly fingers on the trapped skulls until the mission's over. Nothing even remotely interesting to do up there...at least the ability to watch the battle would be some sort of entertainment. Kinda sucks otherwise.

WHere is the sarcasm in that? I disagree... I see the roleplay value of not being able to help your party when your dead... so I'm sarcastic and Having a bad day? I dont get it.
