    Default Can We Please Get Greater Sacred?!

    Dear Devs, I see the discussion about Greater Stability and while you are taking your time making something suck and making it suck more please don't forget about "Sacred". While I am thrilled about the prospect of pulling a +3 Mith FP of Improved Stability I am even MORE thrilled about getting that coveted set of +1 Greater Sacred Splint Mail of Improved Stability (or Greater Stability Halfling RR)!!!!

    Hmmm, so then with a 32 charisma at level 14 you can turn catacombs undead on hard. Woot.

    well the first 2 quests are only level 2 i think, so hard would make them level 3. Maybe he will turn the skellies there.

    For whatever they add, I'd have just one request. Please ensure that I only every see 1 of any particular trait on a quest reward list. If I see 2 sets of sacred hide armor on the same list again I'm going to vomit.

    In a way we have Greater Sacred already (just not in random loot), the Gauntlets of Eternity. But, you'll have to ask a Turn Undead specced, raidloot carrying Cleric how well they work.

    ooooh ooooh this means i can upgrade my bards' necklace from sacred of perform10 to greater sacred of perform10. I really need this to supplement my level 14 bards' turning ability.

    If you are looking for the Undead to pop when you are turning them, that basically does not happen after lvl 10. If you are just looking for the undead to freeze in fear or run away, then the sacred stuff works just fine. I used it all the time on my cleric in Giant Hold and Madstone to great effect. We could work through the enemy one on one, while the others ran or stopped in their tracks.

    I'm sorry the game isn't easy enough for you.
    I'm sure the Devs will get right on making every armor that drops a +5 fearsome mithril breastplate/fullplate and every sword a +1 vorporal sword.
    In the meantime, I'll happily take that +3 mith FP of improved stability off your hands, I won't even charge you a disposal fee.

    I'd be for it, as long as it replaces some of the sacred loot, and does not add more. Everyone's tired of sacred

    Hallowed, works in conjunction with Sacred. Adds +2 to the maximum HD undead able to be turned.

    It's called a cleric with Charisma. There has to be some trade off...u wanna turn undead, put points in charisma. Make those undead fear YOU, and not your gear.

    Just a thought...

    Stacking the Guantlets of Eternity along with a Sacred Shield and 22 Charisma.

    I can tell you right away I CANNOT turn any of the mobs in LOTD 1 on elite.

    Now I think they are CR.... 10 ish ? Maybe 12....

    I didn't test it on many skeletons though as most of the mobs in there are wraiths / wights.

    Might work better on skellies...

    Personally I feel a fully decked out Cleric in Turning gear can do very well on Normal.

    Elite, of course is another story.

    I've never felt that Turn Undead was designed to be useful for Elite difficulty.

    Since so many of us only run quests on Elite, that's where the dissapoint comes in.

    It isn't a big deal. A Cleric with his group fighting powerful undead has a lot more to worry about anyway.

    Like curing the lumox who 'forgot' his Disease Immunity item.
