I would love to see this mythical post. As far as I know, Mod 5 in September, Mod 6 late fall, early winter (due to Mod 6 being pushed back). They still have 4 months to put out a new Mod, and I'm pretty sure they can get one out in that amount of time.
And to say there won't be content releases in-between is just silly to say the least.

I guess that depends on what you define as new content.
Some called the enhancement system (and it alone) new content. Others called adding Dragonmarks "new content"
I guess going by that you would win that little argument.
To me new content is anything they bring out. Like you said, the new enhancement system, etc. Anything we can explore and it doesn't have to be quests.
I'm voting by mid September they will have module 5 out. First to second week and I know my vote is probably negligible to most people but I am like a good gamble now and then.
Like I said I say 2nd week of October and if they get it in there in September I will be pleasantly surprised

Yes, those would be new content. It's additions to the game.
I will hope that there will be more than that of course. Little quests chains, or several single quests chains are nice in-between the big updates, and I sincerely hope that they will continue to make those updates.

LOL... now your just making up fables. If that were the case and they pushed Mod 5 to October then this game wouldn't even need 5 servers any longer. 1 would suffice. If that.
EDIT: Personally I think Turbine is putting all their eggs in one basket with LotRO. They assume because AC has limped along for so long that DDO will do the same. Ive seen the AC boards before and the DDO boards have allot more passion from it's members for the most part. DDO should have been the flagship for whatever company took it on. Whether it was Turbine or someone else. Personally I would have prefered someone with a better track record to have taken the reigns with DDO but we're stuck with Turbine. If they cannot see as plainly as we do what the problems are and how best to fix them then they are simply intent on allowing apathy to replace passion for the title.
To Turbine. I am a major Tolkien fan. However what Tolkien did for Fantasy in general D&D did for gaming. You're making a long term mistake in pushing so hard with LotRO at the expense of your other titles. In my opinion no company should have competing content because of situations exactly like this.
