Actually, indications have been that they do the WDA on Fridays for posting on Monday .. and we all know how many people were [not] in the DDO offices last week

It's really not too much to ask. I'd take modules and updates on time rather than timely WDA's. Somehow, however, I can't help but think the two being late and delayed are related.

Turbine has a terrible track record of keeping schedules.

edit: it's more likely that since Q's not around, whoever's supposed to post the WDA has other concerns. Not that it's an excuse, just my thought.

My breathing is fine. I look forward to reading the WDA on Mondays while i eat my lunch. Sure there are lots of reasons that could push them back, but it is a companies job to solve those reasons.

The world isn't going to end if we don't get a WDA posting in the morning or even at all, but that doesn't mean that it is unreasonable to have expectations as a customer.

Now if we were talking about waiting until Tuesday for the WDA. OMG, it would definately be armageddon. Cats and dogs living in harmony.... All out Anarchy :-D

I don't mean to diminish the difficulty of what Turbine does. Or rather that their job can be difficult. Still, they have an obligation to their custormer to get something done in the timeframe they set. Of late, this seems to be an impossibility.

If they can't get it done in the timeframe they've told their customer, the customer has a right to know about this. It's forgivable that Turbine puts out late content. What's not acceptable, is Turbine's lack of communication to their customer. As soon as they realized mod 5 would be late (among their other many late projects), they should've changed the load screen and given notice on the loader.

But some people <cough>theOP<cough> seem, to me, to get really bent out of shape over it.

Besides, the WDA is a priviledge, not a right. Even if they didn't get it up until friday afternoon, people should be glad they get it at all.

(Note: I think I may just be having an allergic reaction to all the whining I've been seeing on the forum lately - especially the complaining about 'only' getting two more character slots)

I look forward to my WDA every Monday. If this was a once in a while thing that stuff wasnt timely, hey I could deal with it.

That is not the case though, Mod 5 will be the third delayed Mod this year (and it is being delayed again, they just havent announced it on the American Boards yet) and the communication from the development staff and ESPECIALLY the CR people has been lacking for quite a while.

P.S. I aint said anything about the extra slots yet.

Oh and about the privelages and rights thing, My money going to Turbine is a privelage, not a right.

Oh and the OP only asked for the europe site to get the WDA, I do not even see how that can be construed as a whine.

Q did warn us there might not be one, and Graal said he would try if he can.

To me, that means, don't stress if it doesn't happen.

Yeah, I just went under the assumption this week that we wouldn't get a WDA this week due to what is going on. If we get one it will just be a pleasant surprise.

As for the load screen, I beleive that would require taking the servers down, well, the login server maybe, and doing an update, which for a load screen only seems like a lot of extra work.
