Back on topic, it is bad form to extend auctions, I'm sorry that you disagree. IMHO it looks suspect to extend your auction over a 3 day holiday weeked...
I understand something coming up that prevents you from consumating the trades... but to extend the auction past it's original closing time is not how it's usually done.

if it is extended it is no longer an auction but a post to sell stuff ...
