The loot gods have decided I simply must have lots of crossbows, but since I don't use them, I'll put them up for trade or sale (sorry, no repeaters in the lot). I have:

+1 Para Light x-bow
+1 Keen light x-bow of Greater Giant Bane
+1 Anarchic light x-bow of Greater Dragon Bane
+1 Holy hvy x-bow of puncturing
+1 flaming burst hvy x-bow of Greater Magical Beast
+5 Ghost Touch hvy x-bow of Pure Good

Looking for the following items (would throw in a couple items for the big stuff, or could even make a deal for the whole lot), but feel free to offer anything of comparable value or plat:

Bastard sword of smiting
Greater Giant Bane bastard sword
+3 or better burst BS of maiming
+5 Icy Burst BS
Wiz 6/7 helm
+5 MFP

So, not being a user myself, does no one use regular crossbows, or do they all need to be repeaters?

no one uses regular xbows as they are simple and suck, people either use bows (long or short) or the repeaters....
