    Default Funny Little Barbarian

This was alittle Brain storm i had. The point is to duel wield Weakening of enfeebling weapons, or puncturing weapons (eventually wounding of puncturing). Proc's would go off on 13+ with rapiers , so mobs would hit like sissies ( with your DR making them almost nothing), for casters who dont melee often, Puncturing weapons would kill in like 3 rounds. I will definitely make one of these for fun ( might even consider taking precision at 12 instead of Greater TWF ).

Post 14: A couple levels of rogue would be an obvious choice. Maybe even fighter, as there are alot of feats that could benefit this build I.E. Dodge , focus piercing , power critical , precision, toughness.

If you're going for TWF Stat damage, you're probably better off going ranger. Especially if you're building with such a high DEX.

And, overall, I'm not incredibly impressed with stat damage any more now that they've nerfed the **** out of it (red names immune, more red names in game, must do 1+ points of damage to damage, etc).

If you're staying Barb, drop the dex and weapon finessess. Play up to the barbs strengths - strength. Put some extra damage on top of the stat damage.

Maybe swap out the halfling dexterity for halfling flanking bonus (think they get it as a racial)
Thelanis, The Band of the Shifting Sands:
Nen (Barb/Ranger, Founder) / Emeril (Cleric, Founder) / Kraxkit (Dex Ranger) /
Klyde (DPS Barbarian) / Sojourne (Rogue, Trapsmith) / and many others

I have the halfling flanking bonus. Rangers would be far less effective due to not having the increased threat range, not to mention almost 100 less Hitpoints. Another key point of the build is having a High DR, while lowering their damage output significantly.

Those things in mind, the build definitely wouldnt be for everyone, boss fights would face the same limitations as most dex based characters face, which is needing ideal weapon modifiers to still do decent damage, but overall , should be an immense mana saver for cleric, and maintain a decent kill count.

Not to mention , with dexterity, you can actually end up with a moderately useful , robe wearing AC , even while raged. With current equipment & spells, can get 45AC while raged.

A nice attempt to think outside the box. I'm not sure it would be any more effective in practice than a rogue. Tell me how it works out.

Thanks, i will as soon as we get more character slots .

I have been thinking about it even more, and i realized its actually prett easy to get 50+ AC when full buffed, as i wasnt factoring in halfling racial, or Improved uncanny dodge. Also decided upon final class split at 20. 14 Barb / 6 rogue , giving me access to rogue prestige enhancements. Way of the acrobat, or assasin , either would go nicely.

do you have the WP rapiers this build would need? if not, i would not bother with this build. And even with, its still alot worse off then many other barbs

    Default My halfling barbarian

I have tried other barbarian builds, but never made it past level 4. I have an extreme aversion to being a mana sink!

Well.... I finally made a barbarian that I love, and am now level 6 with her. With the Halfling Luck semi un nerf at module 5, the will saves will be as awesome as the damage!

I swear you stole my build! I had a Halfling TWF fighter that I decided to reroll as a barbarian. However, instead of stat damaging, I am going for pure DPS, more swings=more damage (I think that is a barbarian's strong suite). Anyway, I know he's gimped, but still fun to play and something different

Try playing different. Not all barbarians are mana sinks....for instance, most every quest I'll run I'll be the one taking the heals, no one else...this saves mana, or....the mobs die too fast to hit me...saving mana....

But I gotta tell ya, I ran Madstone last night for the first time on elite and jebus....I was getting pounded...I gotta run that quest more often, figure out whats going wrong....those skellies and their AOE damage....
