Shield BLocking DR

I have a question. Last night my Lvl 14 Fighter was shield blocking with a +5 mithral tower shield.

I was only getting 9 DR though. I was under the impression that your shield blocking DR was (shield type) + (enhancement bonus) + (1/2 BAB) + (Feats)

Or in this case, 4 + 5 + 7 + 0. But it looks like I wasn't getting half my BAB.

Has the shield blocking formula been changed?

Formula is actually BAB/2+2 +shield type + shield enhancement + feats, You should have had 18 DR. NOt sure why you weren't getting it, but the formula has seemed to work for my shield blocking. Can you give us any other information on circumstances?

Is that documented anywhere, or just from observation? I've never paid all that much attention to how much damage is being mitigated by my DR, so I honestly wouldn't have known that - but it's not on the DDOwiki entry, and not in the compendium that I could find..

Not that I have seen, no. I just remember it from previous conversations with reputable sources on game mechanics. And it fit perfectly with bobbyryan and Oran's calculations.

Just from observation AFAIK.
