    Objectives
    This was more a question than a request. I was asked, “should a drow fighter sorcerer split levels evenly between the two?” The easy answer is “no.” The complete answer is, “this is what happens when you do.”

    Design
    I decided not only would I split the classes evenly, I would also split the abilities, skills, feats and enhancements evenly as well so you get a straight split class with an even blending of sorcerer and fighter.

    Thanks to the d20 system it is a playable build, however it suffers badly from developing very slowly, and not being especially good at anything. At level 20 it sort of gells as each class manages to put together 10 levels worth of ability, but it will have challenges with every aspect of play from being relevant in damage dealing to surviving sustained contact with the enemy.

    What you get is a TWF rapier specialist combined with a mid level damage caster. While its going to be a mess in epic, it probably could do fine on normal content so long as it was well geared.

    The name here is from a fake RPG I designed called Blade Banger where you had two stats... Blade and Bang for War-Heroes and Wiz-Locks respectively. The Blade Banger was a legendary mix of both classes. The blurb at the end was the introduction to the game.

    Play
    Probably best not to, but if you must: Watch your agro and play a bit like a rogue, picking a combat buddy to pull agro for you and helping take down the targets. Use your damage spells for boss fights or really hard hitting foes you need to take down fast. Get yourself suits of mithral chain shirts as that’s your preferred combat armor.

    Variations
    Its the perfect mix of sorcerer and fighter, you should change nothing!!

    Legend of the Blade Banger
    Once upon a time there was this dude who was totally kick ass! He had 10s in all his stats. He could fight like a War-Hero and cast all the Wiz-Lock spells. They called this dude the Blade Banger. Nobody could beat him and monsters ran away cause they knew he'd waste'em. And chicks thought he was totally hot!

    One day the Blade Banger found the cave of the biggest dragon ever. It had totally massive piles of treasure and was the king of monsters. Blade Banger and the dragon fought all day and all night. They fought so hard the whole mountain started erupting lava and covered up the cave.

    Since that day no one has seen the Blade Banger or his awesome sword. Monsters started taking over and eating lots of peasants and stuff. These are dark times young hero. Do you have what it takes to save the world, to become the next BLADE BANGER!!!.

    Ha ha! That's awesome. Thanks for sharing it.

    As for the build, as you'd expect I'm having trouble seeing how he'd do in the gianthold. That's what stops me when I tinker with builds.. "OK, he's in a four man team in a POP room, what's his role?"

    Fighter/Wizard would be more viable for deep multi-classing; lots of WF around built near that. A 4th level spell, the ability to switch spells, extra feats - extended blur and haste all the time, plus fighter tactics... nothing new here, move along.
