And it is an Aircraft Carrier, so we land planes all night and day. Maybe your plane is a bit larger than normal fighter jets, but still smaller than "my boat" and only I can call it that, the rest of you will refer to Harry S Truman as a ship :P:P:P

Well, I wish I could tell you about the payload of my boat, but 86 total planes, 6000 people and a buttload of steel, not including all the spare parts, telephones, communications equipment, as we are the Command Ship for our battle group/air wing, and to mention the amount of ordinance we have onboard. I think we substantially carry enough to handle our own versus some little paper airplane.

The only downer is being stuck on a ship with a large male population... frankly, I can't stand being around other men... brings out my nasty competitive side and last time I was in that environment I had plenty of time living in the brig and being yelled at

I would just like to say, as I leave for my voice lesson in 2 minutes, that I hope not to fall on my a$$ in mud again and get sent home early to change my clothes and clean my muddy a## self, only later to have my students point and laugh at me and say, 'Mrs. Erda! *Not my real name* I saw you fall down this morning when I got off the bus! You were SO MUDDY!!!!' LOL.
