Ill usually only hand out a GT if there is a purpose, like getting out of a hairy situation.

i carry GT scrolls every where i go, i tele from anyplace to places, if im in the harbor, i find the nearest quest, zone in and tele out, or just use teleport scrolls

i am not a rich prick but i dont like running around for awhile to reach the goal, i do use GT after a pop run, but i dont see the point of it though

Ive got 2 casters, neither of which usually has GT spells or scrolls. When asked for GT, Ill either use a scroll and tele them to the necropolis while I recall, or say:

"yeah let me see if I can find that scroll" and then recall out. Its pretty funny how long people will wait for the GT even when you are already gone

I sometimes carry GT scrolls, but I ALWAYS carry tele scrolls. Being able to zip from VON 5 right into the jorasco shop to buy rez scrolls and CSW wands, then to the porta. hole for other scrolls, then back to the Kundarak bank and back into VON in under a minute is a thing of beauty.

I use em fairly often for quick quests where there is a purpose to it.. Or whenever asked to be nice.

But never for loot runs, where the idea is to make as much platinum as possible.. Using up resources seems to defeat the purpose in those cases.

I carry them on my sorc mostly for guild run and the ocassional practical joke like my grease scroll and summon monster 7 scrolls. Had a lowbie harass me till I would take him in to a high level quest, did then summon monster buff it up and recalled out

Money is not an issue for me, so I carry gt scrolls. I say this though. I would not expect a cleric to carry heal scrolls if I wasn't prepared to carry gt and gh scrolls.
GH scrolls and stoneskin are necessary if you can't fit the spells in. Rez and Heal are necessary for emergencies. GT scrolls are a convenience and not really worth the plat to maintain a stack.

Yeah, there's absolutely no use for the most powerful buff in the game at that point...

I always have gt scrolls on me, but I mostly save them for getting groups out to titan raids. If a group wants gt out of pop they can buy me the scroll. I also keep a few stacks of other scrolls I will never use if i don't have to like res scrolls.

on the same note but off subject i do practice what i preach .... my fighter carries GH scrolls to give to casters so i can have a GH without using thier mana pool.....

Some people don't care about plat... Some do. I never know which type I'm grouped with unless I ask.

As my only level 14 is a sorc I don't have any reason to keep my money in the bank so I buy teleport and greater teleport scrolls all the time...and use them all the time!
FOr a casual gamer who has an hour to play at a time, I really hate wasting 15 minutes of that walking around Stormreach!

But no, you are definitelly NOT required to have those scrolls...as always, it comes down to style of play!

Greater Teleport: Titan and occasionally on a POP run.

Teleport: all the time to get around the city. Saves A LOT of time.

I never noticed a harbor option on the GT spell... did you mean marketplace or do I need to look more carefully at the selection window from now on?
