    Default Challenge: Dragonmarked builds!

I've had a lot of trouble designing a dragon marked character that I wanted to play, so I wanted to start a challenge thread(for my benefit and edication!) - please post your Power gamer dragon marked build ideas.

    The build needs to:
    - be survivable at low levels
    - derive benefit from the Mark as a group member in the end-game

Solo-ability isn't the focus here - we know how cool it is to be able to Dimension Door with a fighter, but in a good high-level group someone else can just cast it. THis has kept me away from the Marks of Warding, Passage, and Sentinel - yeah, it's cool, but the clerics and arcanes can do it too, better, and more often.

I have some theories, but I haven't built them to my satisfaction...

A pure rogue with the Mark of Shadows?
A bard with the Mark of Shadows?
An Arcane or a Melee with the Mark of Healing?

Interesting challenge. Does it have to be a "pure" build, or can you splash a few levels of another class?
Rangers don't die, they just teleport to their bind point.

Easy enough. I'll toy around with ideas tonight and post something either Friday or Saturday.

30 STR Greataxe Power-Attacking Fighter with 364 Hit Points, and the ability to heal himself and others (Cure Lightx9, Cure Seriousx7, Healx5). Simple, but very effective.

I haven't really thought if it would be worth it one way or another...but a level of Cleric would allow you to take Empower Healing Spell for +50% on those heals and Life Magic I for another +10%, and wand use, and a few other utility spells. With a Superior Potency/Devotion item that's better than what a Paladin can do with LoH.

Been enjoying my Dragonmarked Halfling Cleric as inspired by the Halfling Medic thread on the Cleric board.

Default Dragonmark Challenge - Ninja Cleric

    High Elf - 1Rogue/13Cleric

    Starting Stats (32):
    Str - 8
    Dex - 10
    Con - 12
    Int - 18
    Wis - 16
    Cha - 8

Rogue at level 1. 18 Intelligence will let you keep Disable Device, Open Locks, and Search maxed as you level. Also take Elven enhancement-line for Search since this can be the "toughest" area for rogues.

    Feats:
    All 3 Dragonmarks
    Empower Healing
    Mental Toughness

Shadowalk and Invis yourself throughout the quest to remain unnoticed and untouchable to the mobs while healing and buffing your party. The ultimate support class, you can easily take care of any traps/locks besides the Cabal trap as well. Be 95% cleric and solve the need for a trap-monkey easily. Can take 2nd lvl of rogue and get evasion + max spot; but would recommend more points into Dex to take advantage of evasion if this is the case.
