Requesting change to Social Panel

Can the devs please make the social Who panel *not* load all names by default upon load of character?

This would decrease lag/load times for everyone I believe.

First thing I do upon entering the game is open the Social Panel, uncheck 'All', Search, then move freely. I do it each and every time. And yes, that should be the default. Because the Who tab is a drain on resources, it should only show players IF we actively search for them.

P.S. How would you like the AH to open with every available auction listing in one master list, then search to narrow down your finds. It doesn't work that way because it would take 10 minutes for the AH to load. So, why does the Who panel work that way?
