Lightning/Shock splits Black Puddings, Grey oozes are immune to cold, one of them is immune to fire (or is that just the Avatar?). I think True Law/Chaos (or Thundering) may be the best all around.

Good to know about the black puddings I will have to make sure not to use my shock club on those

Boo yah, I found a bug. It is a densewood greatclub, so that explains it. Luckily I didn't ditch my Muckbane so I'll use that in the meantime.

Oh, trivia: Arcane Oozes are Lawful. Confirmed in both VoN2 and VoN4 when I smacked 'em with the True Law greatclub and got "Immune"

So a True Chaos Greatclub of Everbright might be slightly better than a True Law.

Nah just ones with a 2nd material type.

If it says "material: blueshine" your in good shape. If its also adamantine, you might not want to use it yet.

I think flaming greatclub/maul of everbright might be best. I think the only ooze type imune to fire is the grey ooze, which are only found in low level quests and not much threat like stronger black pudding or arcane ooze. Anarchic could be good for arcane ooze if there indeed lawful.

Another issue I have is my Trasmuting darkwood greatclub of everbright both quickly breaks, and also splilts slimes as it deals slashing damage..

Good to hear mod 5 will fix that, I have two everbright weapons, and they both take massive damage from oozes and rust. :/

I've lost count of how many times I've made that run... No joy yet.
I have actually found that there are other monsters in the Heights besides that goober-blob.

Just a quick followup and correction. Grey Oozes, Black Puddings, Ochre Jellies, and Violet Slimes are all NOT immune to Acid. Acid-based creatures damaged by acid; imagine my surprise!!! Now, I only need to test Arcane oozes.

P.S. Don't forget your Lightning Guard armor/robes. That little blast can split black puddings too.

They can't. The chip was made by Dr. Noonian Soong.
Things worthy of Standing Stone going EXTREME PREJUDICE™ on.:
    • Epic and Legendary Mysterious ring upgrades, please.
    • Change the stack size of filigree in the shared bank to 50. The 5 stack makes the shared bank worthless for storing filigree in a human usable manner.
    • Fixing why I don't connect to the chat server for 5 minutes when I log into a game world.
    • Fixing the wonky Lightning Sphere and Tactical Det firing by converting them to use alchemist spell arcing.
    • Redoing the drop rates of tomes in generic and raid loot tables.

IMO this needs to be posted on the login alert screen, so all players will see it regardless of whether they read the forums.

    This is important.
