the only guy that deserve a heal inside the reaver is the aggro holder. all others HAVE (not a need or a could) bring POTIONS.

Don't wait help when is your role is - as a level 14 character - be self-sufficient.

Quoted for f'ing truth. 50% of the people I see die inside of the reaver are not taking care of healing themselves. 30% don't have a heavy fort item and either die when the reavers aggro goes wonky after antigrav, or on the reaver kill. 20% maybe die from unpreventable reasons.(Idiot in raid is not unpreventable IM(not so)HO. See points 1&2)

Show of hands who go into the reaver raid without at least 50 heal pots. In the raid itself everyone should be responsible for their own healing. Why should a cleric have to do all the healing especially with clerics Luthen whose abilities and skills are far better than some nimwit who sits in a corner and tosses out a heal every now and then. If someone were to tell me jsut to sit back and do nothing but heal on my cleric I highly doubt I would be in that group for very long.

To touch on what the OP and several others have have already stated, I agree that a BC is not only doable, but is THE most efficient use of what most folks have turned into a rather mundane class.

Clerics have the second highest BA progression but are expected to hang back and heal squishy tanks!? I don't think so. Get over yourself and turtle up, bucko...time for you to get your game up.

Lol Scars... Anytime that I am not busy farming raid loot feel free to look me up. Course given that I am the raid officer on duty most of the time, I am seldom not hitting reaver/dq/titan/dragon(cause they make me).

And Jun, you have seen my response to squishie tanks when I am playing Hem. If you can't do your damned job I will pull out my axe and do it for ya!! Not that I run into that problem often.

Why heal when you can kill?

Because my wizzy likes to kill stuff and you clerics get in my way! STOP IT! I throw a finger or PK, expecting a kill and seeing that **** skull pop up over their heads instead! It would really **** me off, except before it gets that bad I get to watch a ftr run all the way down the hall to kill a mob and finger it just before he can hit it. That makes me feel much better.

Addendum: I'd love to run with you sometime, man. I'm no spellslinger, so I'm making it my mission to create builds that can fight on the front-lines as well as any tank, and still be useful in his/her primary class. Any and all input is welcome from folks who have done it all successfully.

You wanted a cleric and he is a BC so the fit was not there he dropped now you are insulting someone because he did not conform to your wants. In the end WAH WAH WAH you had to rebuff everyone and make a simple run back to get your mana. Now how childish did I sound there very childish I think it is exactly what you just did.
How mature does that make you sound. Not very IMO. You ended up beating the reaver a couple times more even after so his dropping had no effect on the outcome of what was to come.
Why then call names and try to put him down it was HIS RIGHT to leave if he thought running it that way was not in his interest. My god it was a PUG what do you expect not everyone is going to want to play by your guilds rules and needs he didn't so he dropped what is wrong with that.
Now I really understand why I don't raid with others unless I know and trust there abilities gets BS like above when ya don't conform and people don't understand your playstyle and know you.
