    Default Locking hotkey icons

Is there a way to lock icons on your quickbars.

Sometimes in the middle of a fight I may quickly click on a weapon or a feat...like cleave and accidently drag it of the bar and drop it away.

I then have to finish the battle without the icon..whatever it was and go searching thru my backpack or feat list to replace it.

Please tell me there is a way to lock them ..and if there is not please create one.

Options -> UI Settings -> Lock shortcut items to the shortcut bar.

You can also hit ctrl =. Very useful! :-)

So, "Ctrl =" will toggle this locking on and off? I'm excited - I didn't know about this either...

Yes it does toggle it on and off. Sorry, should've mentioned that.

I find that even when I lock the icons I'm still able to move certain ones around depending on where they are on my screen. what makes it worse is that when locked, I'm unable to move them back. ack!

It seems that even when the bars are "locked" the items on each bar can be moved, for better or worse, one time before they truly lock into place. This is one time PER GAME SESSION, so each time you log on you can potentially mess up your clickies.

I would also like to see "macro" items like quick bars, chat windows, die indicators, etc. also lockable, and once locked become non-existant as far as mouse clicks are concerned. How many times, in the heat of melee, have you resized a chat window by accident and messed up your combat?

Perhaps a selectable "transparency" setting for each window could be implemented as well.
