all in the part doing the dragon run opened the end chest under the new proposed system and everyone got a named item, sure a long shot or say 75 or 50% of the members pulled something, wow what a difference.... everyone there worked just as hard to get there right.

The thought of leaving the game because of changes to the raid loot mechanic has never crossed my mind. I've raided plenty of times. I have raid loot on a couple of my characters. But, raid loot is not the make-or-break aspect of DDO.

The players who are so upset about this are really cracking me up. Petitions. Boycotts? Are you kidding me?!? People, it's a computer game! Put down the Red Bull. Go take a walk outside to clear your head. Maybe even avoid logging on for a week or so. Bet you feel better after a while.

If not, and you're THAT invested in the game - you're probably not going to be happy with the NEXT change that Turbine makes to your fragile little world... or the one after that... or the one...

Well, hopefully you get my point.

If the OP holds to his original statements then he won't be around for the next change... And no, I don't want his stuff... I'd rather get my own, and this change improves my odds.

meh, I got lots of chars, few raid loot, yet i still do good. Aside from the stonemeld armor, the only raid loot i ever won was just "to show i've been there"... not really, no one else wanted it, so i said i'll take it.

Though I do love going into level 1 quests and torching some kobolds with my flamrestrike gauntlets. though, I mean I'm sure every Two Handed user wants the sword of shadows at some point... at some point they will get it, just may happen more often, or a lot rarer depending on the groups luck.

First i spend hours getting to the raid then after killing said creature to steal his loot 80% it is somthing i cant use or need 15% of the time i can use it but roll a freaking 20 or under on a 1d100 roll 5% of the time i can win a roll and use said item for my toon. why quit over change in system i understand that you might be the uber lucky roller the one dude that aways wins his roll but for me raids are a waist of time but most need a bard or rog or tank and i have much fun providing my services to the group so that is where my present enjoyment comes from i never expect to get the loot am looking for i tried even 4 man group and still not win a roll on loot. I trade a freaking 8th level vopal for my reaver loot. Leave game no please change the system yes.
