Exclamation Hey devs you made a mistake

According to dungeon masters guide the repeating crossbow fires five bolts per load not three. I am sure this was just an oversight so why don’t you just fix it.

they nurffed repeaters waaaaya back at release, they were to powerful..... So the drop to 3 was intentional, not an overlooked mistaked.

Well.. I really do not think it is overpowered by todays standards.
It fire 5 bolts for a reason in PnP, everything in DDO is faster and tougher...

It was nerfed probably due to the rapid reload/rapid shot feat in which you could chain gun the sucker.
But really, since that bug was fixed... it should be reconsidered to fire 5 bolts now. Really, ranged is already at the most disadvantagous of all fighting.

    Default still

repeaters are still really powerful at lower lvls, and really underpowered at higher lvls. Peronally, I think when a repeater char hits a certian lvl thier 'clip' should go up..

    Example:

lvl 1-2: 2 shots per reload
lvl 3-8: 3 shots per reload
lvl 8-16: 4 shots per reload
lvl 17-20+: 5 shots per reload

Also, I think speed of fire should go up with every lvl with class. Basically like PnP where at certian class lvls you get an attack round. So a fighter will shoot faster then a wizard since they have more attacks per round.

In PnP all a repeating X-bow let you do was attack at the same rate as you would fire a bow. It DID NOT give ya 5 shots a round. It just gave ya 5 shots before you had to spend a full action to reload, wereas with a normal X-bow, you got one shot, then had to spend a move action to reload.

well technically in PnP, if you used a repeater, you would only get the shots from the clip and then have to wait a round to fire again
    http://www.d20srd.org/srd/equipment/...ssbowRepeating
    Crossbow, Repeating
The repeating crossbow (whether heavy or light) holds 5 crossbow bolts. As long as it holds bolts, you can reload it by pulling the reloading lever (a free action). Loading a new case of 5 bolts is a full-round action that provokes attacks of opportunity.

You can fire a repeating crossbow with one hand or fire a repeating crossbow in each hand in the same manner as you would a normal crossbow of the same size. However, you must fire the weapon with two hands in order to use the reloading lever, and you must use two hands to load a new case of bolts.
