Although you probably know about these thought id point out to ya.. you can get spectacular optics as an end reward for doing the 9 threnal missions...
+3 deflection bonus, and +4 reflex save (easily replaces ancient band and its FREE) not to mention it frees up a ring slot for con, or dex, or str, or greater false life ring.. there arent any very good goggles in the game for anyone cept rogues or int goggles for wiz. spec ops are a must for any class.

How does +3 deflection, +4 reflex save replace a +3 defelction heavy fort item? I think most people want the ancient band for the heavy fort, not the deflection :P

I dont know how +4 reflex replaces heavy fortification. Right now I have a protection +4 necklace, so it would be nice to be able to condense that and heavy fort into one item, albeit at a -1 to AC.
