This sounds just novel / gimpy enough to pique my interest.
The tricky thing about the halfling DMs is finding a way to boost their output w/metamagics and/or Devotion enhs; otherwise they just don't have enough oomph to do you much good. But most classes are feat-starved. And then to add tanking on top...well, who doesn't like a good challenge?
My idea was to take my Jorasco Medic from my "first life" poster and turn it into a S&B tank like so:

Drawbacks: no THF feats or +10% doublestrike from either ftr capstone or Zeal (lvl 4 pally spell) hurts S&B DPS;a pure or mostly pure pally tank probably has a similar amount of self-healing just from LoHs without needing so many feats (esp. once you have Endless LoHs); no tactics feats; missing SD III for added threat / PRR / etc. from stance; halflings take Intim penalty vs larger foes.
EDIT: for skills I would max Intim & UMD; leftover pts go into Balance.
Basically, it's purely a flavor build, but I tried to make it as least bad as possible. That's kinda my niche....

OK, the links in the OP should all be fixed now. Fairly easy to do it turned out.
Though again two things to note
1. All the builds are at least two years old, often more.
2. I'm not personally doing requests these days, though others still do, which I appreciate.
Builds are really time consuming now with epics and such, and tools are a bit more scattered. And with the new enhancements coming sometimes fairly soon, well its going to change a lot. Still, when they do come out I may see about slowly updating a few of mine and bring them into line.
I would like a build for a Human Barbarian that can deal tons of damage but soak up a substantial amount of damage before death. Not exactly a tank but really nice DPS with a bit more survivability. My idea is for it to be free to play since not everyone has the War Forged. Would like for this idea to become a Barbarian build.

About playing style with the bowbarian posted, use a THF weapon spamming cleave, great cleave and supreme cleave for aoe damage (able to use momentum swing and lay waste when epic destinies) and use the bow mainly for manyshot (on bosses or when furyshot or to start masterblitz, etc).
Hi guys. I am completely new to DDO.
I am looking to build a character that can do either very high dps or tank with good dps. Please tell me how should i build this character. I am looking towards paladin or rogue.
I think a Paladin is more Newbi friendly than a rogue (the rogue has more dps but requires more gear for good survivality and self sufficiency), and keep in mind that you need gear items to make your build better, will need a wise item to be able to cast spells after level 4 (can get that at the auction house easily), your main weapons will be a greatsword, falchion or greataxe, able to use a heavy shield with a one handed weapon sometimes too.
So here is a 28 pt Paladin 18/rogue 2 (make sure to wear light armor or robes for evasion usage after taking the lvl 2 rogue), alos can use the hunter of the dead prestige for leveling instead defender of siberys but for higher levels i prefer defender because the survivality it gives)

Is not the best dps but can do the job and i think will give you a very good survivality with some basic gear (like heavy fortification, resistance, etc.)

With almost 2000 posts here it's kind of difficult to see if any one has requested this but can we get a section in the first post that can recommend builds for running through to level 20 for past lives / completionist?
For example I'd love to get my monk at least one Pally past life, and sure there are a lot of pally builds out there but I'd like to know if there's one that's particularly soild all the way to 20 and will get me the pally past life I seek.
Also not being completely selfish... what about other good builds for other classes that are solid enough to climb up to level 20 without much fuss?

You can also make a paladin 14/monk 6 if want ninja spy I or a paladin 10/monk 9/rogue 1 for touch of death, etc.
So after playing for years I guess its time to request a build. I have been looking through the forums for a few days now and have not found quite why im looking for. Keep in mind I am VIP, have access to every race and class. This is going to be thee toons 4th life (prev life being ftr, bard, fvs).
My request should follow the lines of 12rog/6monk/2ftr. The 2 ftr is changeable just their because i think the 2 extra feats will be better than a lvl 7 monk or 14 rog. 12 rog gives me assasinate and 6 monk gives me ninja The idea is to amplify his hide/move silently doing backstab damage and assasinate. Preferably a decent stun dc. and keep his trapmonkey skills as high as possible. I am having trouble determining the race (im leaning towards human) and his starting stats. Any input would be awesome. I understand this probably isnt the best build but im here for the fun of the game.
If there is anyone still making builds that read this thread then I would really appreciate an acrobat 2/ ninja spy 1 build for an acrobat. I keep looking for builds, but not getting much luck. I hear 13 rog/ 7 monk is going to be the way to go once the enhancements are released. If this is so I would still appreciate a build so I know which feats to use.
Also if it can be a Horc and still be able to do traps then I will be very happy.

Just got the new xpac and have no idea what to make. I was thinking pale master, not sure if that is viable. I am primarily ftp account with no tomes and never played at this level, so I am unsure of what to look out for. I have heard that straight pallidin sucks, so I guess whatever would be both fun and really kick ass.
You cannot combine (racial) AA with (class) Tempest currently; that should change once the Enhancement overhaul is (finally!) done, but we've been waiting a year already for it, soooo...it'll get here when it gets here.
Have you considered bard AA instead of rgr? You don't get nearly as many feats as rgrs, so you have to make some tough choices in your build; but the upside is you get better buffs & healing. See my Bardcher thread.Mostly looking for excellent ranged dps, good melee, secondary healer/buffer.

I'm looking for an Evoker (Human) FvS 32 point build, I want offensive casting and healing, but dont know how to add a little melee to it without thinning out the two main points. I haven't been able to find the exact build I'm looking for, and I'm not sure what to add or subtract from previously posted builds. Could I get a hand? ^^; please, I would greatly appreciate it.
Edit: I actually believe I meant the all-mighty, commonly mentioned evoker build that deals with offensive casting/healing, nukes and those sorts of things. I just don't see what else there would be to do after you run out of SP. But all of the builds are 404'd, and I can't seem to find it. If you could help me in that way, I would appreciated it. (:
