    Question Clonks Light/Dark Dex/Str?

Hello, I've been wanting to build a Battle Cleric/Monk build for some time. I would like 12 Cleric for the continuous healing aura, and 6 monk for light or dark path. The other 2 could be anything although 13/7 would be just fine too. I like the idea of becoming invisible to heal and to be able to amp damage for casters and GS weapons etc. But also like the idea of non-stop healing doubled up in the build with light.

I'd like Dex path builds and Str path builds for both a Light Monk/Battle Cleric and a Dark Monk/Battle Cleric. I have messed with both and can't decide what is going to be the most fun path and focus for this build.

Hand wraps or Q-Staff only for weapons and Handwraps preferred. Melee Tank over casting dps, and good enough heals to be entirely self sufficient and possibly solo heal the party in emergencies.

Start at Vet lvl7, Monk path first (6/1?) 32pt build with +2 Sup tome, have a horde (30+) of characters to go after any gear that is relatively easy to farm, no race or class restrictions, not really a fan of Drow. I like the massive healing power shot in the mega heal enhancement but also have had a lot of fun with the elf/half elf early game raise dead ability.

I would also like to see an artificer build, either a warforged or a dragonmarked human.

Check my sig for a human build that can easily be converted to WF (Einstein is the xbow user).

I tried it two different ways: one with a ftr 2 splash to get the extra feats necessary to add Tempest I; and one with a rogue splash for UMD, Evasion, and 1D6+3 SA, which skips Tempest I entirely and adds Stunning Blow. You didn't mention what you were TRing from, but it doesn't really matter for this build. I also presume you've taken +2 tomes to all your other stats before TRing, but it doesn't matter if you haven't; none of them except the +3 DEX you mentioned are req'd.

    Fighter splash w/Tempest:

Other FEs to consider include Evil Outsiders, Constructs, and Elementals; in particular, I'd swap out Undead after you're done with the Orchard (unless you spend a lot of time farming Abbot and/or eWiz). I prefer the rogue splash - IMHO, Tempest I doesn't add enough DPS to make up for the 3-feat cost and I loves me some UMD & Evasion - but I believe in offering options. In both cases, I recommend using a greataxe until at least ITWF; if you've got a Carnifex, I might use that until you get GTWF.

Possible? Sure. Optimal? Probably not, but it's still a fun combo.

Here's a build I did a while ago for someone else along the same lines. Like you, they wanted a THF human rogue / ftr with trap skills, UMD, and some stealth (hence the pts in Hide & MS). I added a barb splash for +10% run speed and +1 Power Atk enh; and for fun I also added the first two Passage DMs, which adds Expeditious Retreat (zoooom!) and Dimension Door (which comes in handy in certain quests...or when you need to beat a hasty retreat to avoid wiping). Instead of the barb splash, I'd also consider rogue 8 to add W&S Mastery III and Imp Uncanny Dodge (which helps with that low-ish Reflex save). She's specced for falchions, but greatswords & greataxes are just an enh swap away; spec for whatever's your best 2H slasher.

    Default Drow Rogue

I recently saw someone playing a drow rogue using dwarven axes. The story to this was that he spent time with Duergar in the underdark. I would like a pure 20 drow rogue assasin, little to no tomes, using dwarven axes. Trap skill would be awesome, but may not end up working. Max move silently and sneak also. I have 32 point, but to my understanding that doesnt do anything to drow. I have no past lives.

Apart from the fact you would have higher DPS and 1 extra feat if you stuck with rapiers on a drow rogue, there's nothing special to this build:

This is also one of the few times I've wound up with more APs on a rogue than I knew what to do with - mostly because once the Assassin pre-reqs, W&S Mastery, and Haste Boost are out of the way, there's not much worthwhile to spend those extra pts on.

Default Request from a confused newbie.

First of all, Im sorry if my rant is confusing, I need to keep typing so I can understand myself better.

Im mostly a solo-player, sometimes Im accepted into parties but I feel my contributions are hardly remarkable as if my presence there didnt make too much of a difference. I have done fairly nice with my Lv 14 Wizard and my Lv 8 Ranger (which I only play when Duo-ing with my gf´s Cleric). I need something else to play because Im feeling a bit bored of the wizard.

What I want is a melee (Id like lots of slashing!), versatile toon that I can play solo (self sufficient?) that can help me learn better this game by practice and I realized I learned well by soloing because if I can finish a quest by myself I will be able to perform better in groups. I wont learn if people is rushing things and I dont get to understand what Im doing. Not sure if Im making sense here.

I am a relatively new, casual, f2p player + unlocked Drow. So I dont have access to many things in the game, not even tomes.

I cetainly want to go melee: Figther, maybe Ranger but not Barbarian and I kinda hate Paladins (concept-wise) but if Im asking for too much I could be flexible. (But I dont think I would enjoy playing a Paladin now, who knows?)

I like being able to buff myself and I want to be more familiar with the art of buffing properly, to understand which, when, how, where, etc.

I dont know if a cleric hireling is enough to keep myself healed at higher levels, if not then I guess Ill need some way of being able to heal myself... I dont really know.

Im sorry if my request is redundant, problematic or what-not. I really looked all over for builds but I only got confused and tired and "argh!" so I decided to ask here. It doesnt have to be a new, original, build, I just want some guidance.

Please let me know if you need more info from me and many thanks in advance : D!

    Default dps maxUMD ken

On a kindle, so bear w me.

I am looking for a kensei build w Max UMD. I was also wanting to have good Dps.
I am not a fan of khopesh. I have some good scimitar and epic ones also. T3cove good spotted kron's litii rad
I am stuck trying to decide 12ftr 6 pld 2 rge or switch to another variant.
I previously had a blitz, and did not like the shortness of the rages and being constantly complained to by
healers for using frenzy. . .
I was wanting to keep w scimitars but maybe try 12 ftr 6rgr 2rge. I'd be losing the pld yummies though.
I guess my question Would be, what is a better option for the toon over all?

    Default Meele tatics focused build

    Hi,
First of all, i am requesting this, but I know that probably someone already requested something similar, but i couldnt read through all the pages to find it, so, sorry =/
What I am looking for is a fighter or any other meele class that can be usefull at endgame (but, if possible, no multiclassing), epics and all, that is focused in meele tatics (like stunning blow, sap, brutal trow..etc), and is possible, good savings. I am kind of imagining a "inteligent" or even "wise" fighter, capable of managing foes (or playing with then) as well as killing then (and not getting killed xD) ^^.
I have acces to HOrcs and Helfs and monks. I would prefer a THF class, but TWD is good as well. I dont realy like unarmed fighting...
If theres already such a build, or anything like it, send me the link, if possible.

    Thanks a lot

Default New, specific build concepts Wanted, exspert help needed!

    Hello folks,

If anyone is up to the challenge - i'm after a build from the people who know for a very specific race/class combo.

My plan is to either LR+3 a Drow,Wiz12/Rogue2 or a Human Fighter12/Pally 2 - i'm after the build that offers me the most potent DPS with soloing power.

    Your working with a 32 build;

    - the human fighter/pally has already nice pair of Kopesh weapons.

-the drow, for some kind of reason i like the idea of monk/wiz with even a lvl of rogue - are monk/wiz mellee decent?

Thanks in advance! A finely put together lvling sheet would be awesome.

    Kind regards,

    BB

Default Question about which level to add a splash

My musings on my next TR build:

    http://forums.ddo.com/showthread.php...84#post4583184

    Suggestions welcome.

Question for this thread, however, is this:

If I go rog16/rng2/mnk2 which levels are best for splashing?

    same question for:

    rog17/mnk3
    rog18/rng2
    rog18/mnk2

    Thanks!

    Default Rogue Tank

I was wondering if it would be possible to create a rogue tank using high saves and evasion, as well as workable AC. If it is possible, I would like to see a build or outline of a build. I thought a 18 rogue 2 pally with high charisma and dex might work. I am f2p and have drow unlocked.

Default 36pts Viable Melee Pure FVS without SoS

    I dare you!
Only past lives I will never get, because I hate the class are: Barb, Bard, Arti (so, not completionist).

    Whatever gear/except challenge
    UMD
    Soloer
    Not DDO Store dependent.

If I don't have a strong reason why it's not viable, I eat my hat.
(and it's just my build pre nerfdate14)
    I don't care...

    Default Utility Bard?

Are there any good builds for an utility bard? I used to have one that was 18Bard/2Rogue but can't for the life of me remember how I made it and havn't played the game for years so don't think I'll manage by just randomly trying to plan a new character on my own.

I'll play a elf and I'm hoping I'll be able to at least heal, use supportive spells for my party members and if not loosing to much of of other stuff finding and disabling traps/open locks would make for a perfect utility/supportive bard.
