could you build me a favored soul? wisdom based, i was thinking half elf to get high heal amp. it would probably benefit from the clw capstone, so it would most likely be best pure. i want this guy to be great at blade barrier and destruction and all those other great offensive divine spells.
any help would be great
I would like to request a Pure (20) 32pt Dex/Wis Light Human Monk build, aim is to TR is into a Dark Build.
Thank you.

Sure thing man.
- Pale Master build with capstone and lich form for instakill DC.
- Two spell pen feats and enhancements for breaking spell pen.
- You can choose extend instead of mental toughness if you prefer it (melee with long hastes/displace thank you).
- You can choose something other than Cold magic / Lightning secondary for damage if you like; these were enhanced with boss dps through dots in mind.
- With the same thing in mind, Subtle Spellcasting IV helps keep you off the top of the hate list.
This has been rolled up with Halfling flavor in two ways.
- Hero's Companion IV. Just what your party needs in order to keep your tank alive and with the most possible hate during a boss fight. You may see precious AP wasted, but for the benefit to the group and also the good use of your time in a boss fight once DoTs are applied, it's hard to beat this.
- Unusually good saves for making a very durable pure Wizard. This build finds room to slot Insightful Reflexes and buys one more reflex with 1 AP, on top of the +1 to all saves from halfling. With (very easily obtained) gear this character will regularly make its saves in all content.
And for even more durability: You could drop Subtle Spellcasting IV or Hero's Companion IV in order to buy +1 to all saves for 4 more AP. You could make room for Luck of Heroes by dropping Mental Toughness/Extend ... or you could make a third Toughness in the same way. Instead of choosing to dump stat STR to 6 for 18 CON, the build takes STR to 10 and gets 1 will save from 10 Wisdom, while taking CON to 16. It still gets good HP for a wizard at the cost of a feat.
Here it is.

White Fang (newbie-friendly build) - TWF melee dps with self-sufficiency and rogue skills.
California King - the hagglebot craftbot alt build, pure Arty leveling with two-handed weapons.
Was wondering if anyone could toss me a build or some advice on a build. (Just returning to the game and playing very casually so for now going mainly "free" - although in my mind the build is a Half Orc)
Im basically thinking of Human (or HORC later) 28 pnt build:
Bard 12 for Warchanter II + Buffs/Heal
Barbarian 6 for Frenzied Berserker + Rage (when not casting) Higher BAB + DR
then 2 Fighter? (for extra feats?)
Ive seen alot of builds go to L14 Bard (not certain why or rather as far as I can see its courage +2 and +1 BAB, which Im not sure if thats worth it against 2 extra feats.)
Basically Id prefer this character to be 'useful' but I mostly solo, Id love if it could tank (but im guess bard will be mainly buffs + dps which is fine as long as I can survive solo)
Any advice would be appreciated!
I want to find a good build on pure-class human (or elf) Archmage (with tomes+2), but i don't want to play warforged\drow. Can you help me with it?

Hi,
i was wondering about some solo builds. I saw alot of people talking about Tempest build, but my question is, how good is Tempest in soloing, and at end game, cause i saw alot of different so called tempest builds with different classes and levels. Iv been playing game for a while so i know of things but im wondering about Tempest, it seems good build but i havent had any experiance in mele builds.
Im trying to make clreic/monk/rogue for soloing, but i think i wont have good mele ability, but rather use spells and high ac with dex and reflex, i donk know but i think ill get alot of "miss" at end game in mele, so i was wondeing about some mele solo build, he would be able to heal himselfe but be good at soloing end game.
also i have question about pale master. which way is most efficiant way to heal yourselfe, ill TR my wizard into drwo PM, im Archane now i wanted to try that and im pleased with what i have, but now i wanna se PM, and i dont wish to be WF (personal reason) so im wondering about that.

Looking to start my first multiclass toon. Would like an elf Magic user that is good with bow (Ranger?). The idea is to recreate a character from a book I read years ago. I have 32 point build and the ability to buy tomes.
Also thinking of TRing my Intimitank into a Pally. Is this a good idea or am I wasting my time? Intimitank is a THF and would like to keep that since I have many awesome Greatswords.
Thanks in advance.
Hi guys, I recently started playing ddo again after really only dabbling in it the first time. I was able to unlock drow and I bought 32 pt builds. The toon I was playing before was trying to follow the " iron monk " build and to be honest I dont like playing him. He is a finesse build and I am thinking about either +3 heartwood or just take all of his gear, put in bank and deleting. His current classes are 6ranger(tempest)/1paladin/2monk drow. With a +3 heart I can change 3 of the class choices so is their a build that would work well? I was thinkn maybe 6 rgr/12pally and not sure what with the other 2 levels. I am now comfortable grouping with others so he doesnt have to be able to solo, just want to be helpful in my groups. Thanks for any help and advice.
See here for "bardcher" (bard+Arcane Archer) builds.

Bard levels give you access to arcane and divine spells with the 3/4 BAB progression. The songs and buffs help with your attacks (at least when you are the only bard or are solo). You also have few hard-and-fast expectations put on you in groups, so you may get to use your bow in groups more than with other classes.
Paladins do more damage/threat with TWF. You may consider the "Soul Survivor" build as an alternative.

WF FvS use greatswords and will get the brute fighting enhancements for tanking.

Simplest thing may be just to follow a Tempest Ranger build. 18 Ranger/2 Fighter is a solid class split. To do this you could use the heart in order to make a pure ranger, take the ranger to level 12, splash in the 2 fighter levels, and then level up to 20 for the third tier of Tempest.
It is even possible that there may be a 12 Ranger / 6 Paladin / 2 Monk or 12 Paladin / 6 Ranger / 2 Monk build out there you like... try searching in google maybe.

Thanks man. I will do a little searching on google then. I currently have a horc white fang at level 13 thanks to finding your build about a week ago . It is the highest level I have ever reached and I am having a blast with the guy. Very newbie friendly.
Looking for a solid rogue build that can fit my play style (i.e. i'm way casual gamer with little to no time for groups due to weird work schedule)
32 pt. build
would like to be able to solo/duo quests and still hit traps. TWF preferred , and human build.
UMD optional.
I'm looking for some ideas of how to build a character probably caster or multi-class caster that excels at killing spellcasters both arcane and divine.
i want a bard (perhabs twf with khopeshs if possible) that will have trap disabling skills and combat skills while still being a nice damage dealer (thought of some 16/2/2 brd/ftr/rog but never had a bard so i dunno)
Just started playing, I'm looking for a Wizard who can also do rogue skills like traps, spot, search, etc. The skills are all I want from the rogue part
Make a werewolf! Like, an unarmed horc fighter-tank.
Hello
I don't know if you are still offering build help...I do have a request if you are.
I would like the following:
17 lvl in FvS if possible. (Though if there is a build that does all the rest, and skips FvS all together, I am open to that.)
TWF with High DPS (Does not have to be max DPS, just want to be able to fight well and hard.)
Ability to heal myself and others well.
Ability to RES others more than 1-2 times per rest and before high levels-lvl 20.
Some good defense like evasion or the like if possible.
I currently have a Drow Paladin that I am looking to TR into this build. I am VIP, though the easier the build sans gobs of rare stuff the better.
I am open to different races, though I prefer the prettier ones of elf/drow to be sure. Human/H-elf wouldn't be awful I suppose.
Thank you in advance for any help. I am of course open to additional questions as well.
