    How about a pure fighter, half-orc, TR (past life fighter).

    Would be a TWF (greataxe), +2 tomes (Int at level 7).

    Items would be nothing spectacular, 2 green steel items, 2 green steel axes, keep it reasonable for the average player.

    High DPS would be the goal here.

    Heyas, I'm coming back to the game and I was thinking about doing a Drow Full Barbarian build that can put out full out DPS, but at the same time be able to negate some damage that gets thrown at him. I don't have a basis for a build and that's my main problem, so I don't really know where to start. If you can help me with this request I'd be grateful.

    So I totally didn’t read all 67 pages of this thread, but if I wind up requesting a build that’s already been asked for/provided, my apologies in advance.

    I’m looking for an elven assassin that uses at least the Least Dragonmark of Shadow but if the Lesser Dragonmark of Shadow can be fit in as well, all the better! Greater is complete fluff.

    It doesn’t have to be pure but I don’t want to splash more than two levels in another class so I can take Assassin III. I’m looking for it to do as much DPS as it can possibly do along with having a respectable to high DC on Assassinate. Trap skills will probably take care of themselves by virtue of the build having a high INT anyway.

    32 point build, assume ready access to +2 tomes.

    No rush on this, It'll be a bit before I build it.

    i have to think about it a bit. I guess 2 fighter or 2 monk levels give enough feats to squeeze in the dragonmarks.

    Default Half-Orc Archmage?

    Hi,

    I've just rolled up a Horc Wizard, with the intent of going Archmage PRE - mainly for the fun of it, but I would like to suck as little as possible while doing so. Love the idea of being able to spam cast magic missile at L6 even though it is probably very gimpy.

    Mainly solo player, so I am focussing on Melee + Buffs. Have access to 32 pt builds and Vet status

    Stat points: 10 points into Strength (18), Con (16) and Int (14). Feats at L4 are Power attack, Toughness and Extend. Couple of points left over into Dex (10)

    Any thoughts on how to progress this character so he at least has a chance of reaching L20? I've only just rolled him, so I don't mind being told to change my feats or stats.

    Default Halfling TWF Khopeshes, heavy armour

    Scratch that old post. (doesn't have to be halfling either)

    TWF Khopesh user for very high DPS output (doesn't have to be maximum, but close to it)

    36 point TWF Tempest
    Khopesh
    Chaotic
    UMD (only needs to be high enough for weapons/items)
    Would like to stay away from big time multiclassing, but if the build can benefit from it, do it.

    Default Monk - Ranger - AA ?

    Hello,
    after searching a while in the Forum I decided to ask for a Build.

    I thought about a combination of:
    Race: maybe Elf (not a must), Access to all but Half-Orc and Half-Elf (havent bought them yet)
    Classes: Will it be possible to get playable Character combining Monk and Ranger for Arcane Archer?
    Equipment: no Access to Tomes or real Highlevel-Stuff yet
    Focus: Ranged Attack and nice Melee, but not a Melee-DPS-Dealer like lots of People play (won't say "No" if it is possible )

    Why Monk: I found a Thread where someone posted a 3Class-Build with Fighter in. Later on someone wrote Monk would fit in, too instead the Fighter.

    I tried out to build my onw Character using the Char-Builder but must admit, I don't know enough to get that Combo done

    Thanks in advance for reading and (hopefully) building.

    = 293 - not really enough

    With basic gear:

    Imp false life item: 20
    Con + 4 item: 44

    = 357 - Getting there

    With "try a bit harder" gear:

    Greater False Life - Additional 10
    + 6 Con item - Additional 20
    Minos Legens Helm - Additional 20

    = 407 hp - Decent


    This build gives you a good arcane archer with a nice melee element. I would advise you to melee A LOT and go ranged WHEN APPROPRIATE

    the monk prestige enhancement means you can use longswords (an elf favoured weapon) and remain centred whilst doing so, which is pretty nice. With a couple of vorpal longswords you will deal out whirling death with a very nice ac to boot.

    Self buffed AC with moderate gear:

    Base: 10
    Dex bonus: 7 (assuming 4 dex enhancements, +4 item)
    Wis bonus: 5 (assuming 2 wis enhamcents, +4 item)
    Armour bracers 4 (very easily achievable - Waterworks)
    Protection item 3 (or shield of faith potion)
    Barskin 5 (from ranger 12 onwards)
    Centred bonus 3

    = 37

    Improved the above gear and you can add another 7 to that ac, with tomes there's another 2 to grab

    then you can chuck on all the silly stuff that most builders insist their characters will have, such as a chattering ring, icy raiment, paladin in their pocket, ac song from a bard, haste, recitation, holy aura... and congratulations your AC is 400 ;-)

    I just spent about an hour waiting for a second healer on a Shroud run. Of course it also reminded me of all the times I've needed to wait for healers and rogues on my way up to 20. Which made me think, is there a build that would allow me to fill both roles well?

    So that's my request, a healer with enough proficiency to heal for a raid, but still able to tackle most or all of the traps in the game. I currently only have 28 point builds, but am near earning 32 so both options would be nice. I have access to Drow, WF, and FvS (and monk if you think that's relevant somehow :P).

    hello all. i am very interested in becoming a healer. the server i am on has no heals it seems. i have read a bunch of stuff regarding clerics fs etc. i am not stuck on playing only a cleric or only a fs i just want to be the best healer i can be.i dont mind multicalassing like i said i just want to be a great healer. i have 32pt build option and fs i do not mind being able to dps as well as heal any help would really be appreciated thanks for any info you can give

    Simple request - Warforged 18 Sorc/2 Paladin, primarily a caster but able to mix it up in melee capably (THF) when needed. 28 points only, no 32 point unlocked on the account it's to go on. I can get my hands on any +2 tome needed to make it work.

    Always put points into search and disable when you level up, use the rogue levels to fill those up and there should be room for UMD as well. Use the find traps spell to help you, it'll give you a +1 bonus for every 2 cleric levels.

    You could alter this build a bit and put points into dex rather than wis if all you want to do is heal, then you can help out in melee a little with cursespewers/stat damagers/instant death weapons

    Be warned that although you have evasion your base reflex save will be 10 at level 20.

    However:

    +7 from Dex (with item + enhancements = 24)
    +4 from easy to obtain resistance item
    +2 recitation

    And you're suddenly at 23 without any help, so it's not bad

    Default Updated Paladin build request

    Well, I'm sitting here waiting for the maintenance period to end, so I thought I'd ask for a build. Simply put, I'd like to request an updated (November 2010) build for a PURE, capstone Paladin. Basically, I want to find the best balance between AC and DPS. Imtimidate would be nice, but mainlyI just want to find a build that can dish it out but also take it when necessary - and I want to feel like I can make it through any quest as a viable member of the team. I would prefer Human (okay, I'm a traditionalist), but would consider Dwarf.

    Is this possible, or am I barking up the wrong tree?
