Thanks for the build Lifespawn. The character actually solos pretty well even on Hard. Invites happen really quick.

Hi, trying to get a dwarf rogue that wont die on traps (reflex) and can output some damage, as well as disable/find traps and pick locks. I've been messing around with rogue/barb, or rogue/fighter, but can't seem to get the numbers right. Trying to stay out of the cookie cutter ranger builds. Also don't have 32 pointers yet and no tomes.
New to DDO
Looking to play a 28 point
Dwarf
TWF
Pure fighter / Kensei
I know its not as good as other races but I would like to play a dwarf with axes.
Can someone toss up a good build for this?
Thanks
28pnt. build
sorc for dmg spells and mana
bard for songs, self buffs and healing
high umd (optional not sure if needed)
like to be able to use raise dead scrolls
high diplo (agro drop)
dps
moderate ac (enough to not get pwned)
race: no preference
weapon: no preference
ill be playing this character and getting equipment / weapons as i go
you laugh i laugh
you cry i cry
you jump off a bridge i laugh at your dumb ass
I would like some help making a sorcerer with 2 (possibly 3) paladin levels. This way I add my charisma bonus to my saves and get +1 to cha as well as all the proficiencies. 28 points and preferably human, since I'm going to be playing the free version I can't use warforged or monk in the build. Thanks for the help
Hello, first I'd like to state that I am a new DDO player, all that I've played has been in Beta. I've made and deleted so many characters just trying to find that groove that I want to play in. I think I've found it Anyways here's my plan for the build but I need some input from you experts to fine tune it.
(Drow female Ranger 11/Fighter 7/Monk 2)
I have had the most fun with Ranger and I am trying to make a build with great DPS and Great surviveablity in both the solo and Group environment. I spend roughly 70% of my game time solo and 30% in groups so the solo aspect is a little more of a priority to me.
Why Ranger 11? Precise shot, Improved precise shot, Greater two-weapon fighting
Why Fighter 7 and not just 6? Fighter Critical Accuracy III - Fighter Attack Boost III - Fighter Toughness III - Fighter Haste Boost III
Stats:
Str 17
Dex 16
Con 12
Int 10
Wis 11
Cha 10
Level Progression:
1-2 Ranger
3-4 Monk
5-8 Ranger (tempest)
9-14 Fighter (Kensai)
15-19 Ranger
20 Fighter
I plan to keep Search, Spot, Listen, Jump, Move Silent, and Hide Maxed out. I don't realy plan on doing much sneaking, more just to get a good shot. soften up teh mob as much as I can then tear it up with dual Rapiers. It's from this point out in the creation that I get lost. Trying to fine tune all of the feats and enhancements. I'm hoping you guys can help me fill in that blank.

Claw, heres a few minor points here my man.
1) don't go fighter 7 ranger 11, scale it back to fighter 6 and ranger 12.
Why? the prestige enhancements are at levels 6, 12, and 18 for each class.
This way you would be able to invest in tempest II, and one of either stalwart defender OR purple dragon knight (depending on style...kensai wouldn't be worth it (as much) when dual weilding and only first teir)
Seriously, 7 is not worth it for the sake of the few action point enhancements...you get more at 12 and 6
2) Gerber is just another brand of multi tool and much cheaper due to the mark up.
Better built? Not really. Better priced? Defiantly. And just different for the most part.
3) if you REALLY want to keep with pure solo action, you MAY want to consider monk 3, fighter 4, Ranger 13..
Ranger 13 maximizes the potential of bark skin.
Fighter 4 gets you plenty of feats.
Monk 3 lets you get fist of light, which will give you something to do against alot of mobs to add in a little bit of healing, both for you, and your party that you (may or may not) have.
Either way, if your going that heavy into ranger, its worth considering hitting 12, or 13 rather than only 11 for the feats.
12 is the actionpoints
13 is +5 bark skin
Storm Shadow of Mabar...er Argonnessen....
Strype McClaine = Elans = RoboStrype McClaine = Shotguns McClaine = HolyStrype McClaine = Styxxx Roboto = Gunner Longshot d'Jorasco
Thank you strype, There is still alot left that I must learn about DDO. I've been looking at builds and stats so much I haven't even realy played the game =/. I was Almost thinking about going for a Fighter two handed Kensai build too but once again I'm not sure how to build it up for How I like playing. I supose I should just Roll it teh way I think it should be and learn from my mistakes like so many others have. What would you suggest for beginning stat placement on a 28 point build of Ranger 13/Fighter 4/Monk 3? I am stuck on Drow just because they have higher base stats in teh areas that I like but I am open to Racial suggestions.

Krago - Dwarven Barbarian
Hello all,
I would like to get some help and advice on a tank build.
My goals .. high AC and good damage. Can solo well and still be a solid tank in raids.
I want him to be a Halfling and a pally. I have no problems multi classing.
As far as weapons… shield ( for high AC ) bastard sword or koepsh.
Was thinking some rouge for UMD.. not sure if its worth it….
These are my main wants. And I am open for others. Any other ideas would be awesome.
and its a 32 pt build
Thanks and sorry not the best grammar person.
Octa 16 Cleric sarlona
very good job guys! keep it up!
now where do I donate???
Been loving the game and recently I opened the Drow race. I love Drow and would like to play one but I am torn on which class to play. I play a Human cleric now, so casters are out. I am leaning towards a pure Monk or Rogue. If rogue, I want assassin type... if Monk I would like as much DPS as possible. Please help me decide, perhaps make a build for me. Thank you!
So I'm fishing for a particular build that probably already exists, so I'm sticking my fingers in as many pies as I can to try and find someone who might already have it.
28pt or Drow 18 Ranger 2 Monk. The goal is Tempest 3 with as much AC, Saves and Hitpoints as possible while retaining all the offense that a Tempest ranger can dish out. I have access to +1 Tomes, but no +2's at this time. The future though, that will change. (I don't know how Tomes work aside from that they boost that stat, so I don't understand the difference of using them at 1 or any specific level.)
I will be taking this character all the way to the top and I plan on raiding with him, so factor in whatever Greensteel and raid loot into the end numbers as you like, since I love knowing what I can get if I work towards it. If you can give me a projection of what the numbers will be like once he's finished, I'd love you to pieces.
Thankyou.
Drow now unlocked. Have had a few players tell me I should not roll another character to pickup Favor quicker to get to the 32 point unlock. If so I could really use Drow build.
Drow
Any class
Solo friendly (your Cleric for me was actually very solo friendly from lvl 1)
No Tomes
this has a base 17 reflex +3 from a dex item +4 against traps+2 head of good fortune+4 gh=30
staying out of the cookie cutter use handaxes it'll be fun and you can use the dwarf enhancments to them for more hit and damage
