Default Groticus build - Cabal capeable Rogue

Hey Sigtrent. I started the Groticus build the other day so our guild will have another rogue. I am confused by the Feats. There appears to be too many feats chosen. Two weapon fighting is listed but does not appear in your level progression. I really liked this build. Am I missing something?
Agorth Brutalum: L20 TWF Dwarf Barbarian, Shinkura: L14 WF Sorceror (3rd life), Wisspering Willow: : L19 Rogue - assassin, Arisiana: L9 Pally (2nd life). Metalika: L20 Tempest Ranger Gurddy: Level 18 TWF Dward Barbarian It's all about fun, isn't it?

I am looking to make an evasion/dual wielding/tank using the khopesh. I would like 2 rogue/2 ranger/12 either fighter or barbarian. I would like the evasion/dual wielding as soon as possible. Traps are not necessary. I also would like UMD if possible to use any items i find no matter what they are or who is restricted to them.

I have access to 32 pt build buit no tomes.

    Default tempest rogue

hey sig, looking for a new build. i have a straight ro10/rangr6 that i like ok, but i am interested in a bit more. I would like either a ranger/rogue/barb focused on sneak attack dps with high trap skills or a ranger/rogue/bard finesse build with good buffing capabilities and high rogue skills (esp UMD/DD) but using stat damage for combat. range combat will always be secondary for me. AC and Saves are up to you. 32 pt please. race optional, besides elf (i have plenty already ). gear is not a problem, for the most part. feel free to use as many +1 tomes as needed and i can farm if necessary but please keep it limited to 2 +2 tomes at endgame, anymore is just gravy.

either way you build it this will be my new rogue so he needs to be able to hit most traps but cabal is not necessary.
    thanks for your excellent work!

    Default DPS WF Wizard/Fighter

Hey Sig! I tried your WF Tempest/Barbarian build and now I am hooked on it! I was wondering if you could please help me out with a build that has been puzzling me lately.... A WF Wiz/Fighter combo with strong DPS dual wielding bastard swords and self buffing. I've seen it done but am hard pressed to find a way to do it...I have 32pts to work with if that helps, but no tomes are available to me. If you would please respond to this asap just so I'm sure that you're still watching this page and I won't be waiting for nothing, lol! thanks so much.

Hi Sig, I don't know much about the bard class and I need your help!

I am looking for a 28 pts bard build that will focus more on buff than cc, will have good umd skill and will use range weapons (bow or crossbow doesn't matter to me). He'll use range mainly for stat damage but if some decent/good dps could be added that would be nice. If there is space to enhance healing fine but that isn't a priority. That toon will be grouping 90% of the time so it doesn't need to be a solo specialist and will only be a secondary healer if needed.

    1. I don't have tomes but have access to drow if needed.
    2. twf or thf is not an option (tired of playing these hehe).
    3. race/alignment/weapon type is entirely up for you to decide
    4. You can splash as many level as you want but I'd like for the toon to be mainly a bard.

I looked at the builds you already posted in this thread but couldn't find anything that would fit my requirements.
Some builds looked kind of similar to my idea but since I know very little about bards I couldn't figure out how to modify it.

    Your help would be appreciated.

Im thinking of 2 builds, either dual wielding rapiers Drow pally11\Rogue5 or Pally11\Rogue3\Fighter 2 for most DPS>Tanking>Skill Use capabilities
(use of +2 int and +2 dex tomes included)

anyone would be interested to explore the possibilities?

    Default Guild Bank

Perhaps this is a bit unique, but I need to build a guild bank character. Several actually, but one build would be fine. I am looking for the strongest, fastest support character out there. Their only purpose is to be unencumbered while moving as quickly as possible from tavern to vendor to bank to tavern.

I want to be able to run/drag them through all the house K and coin lord favor, and I don't want to level them above 5th level (lower than 5th is fine; that just seems to be the sweet spot for getting to fast - and I don't want to spend a lot of time leveling these guys). I only have 28 pts to play with. I have a haggle bard, so these folks just need to be the muscle.

    Default Ranger/Rogue/Cleric or Bard

    Hello,
I would like to be able to get the specialty tempest and way of the assassin, and then after level cap raise get another from the third class if possible(I know cleric does not have one now). TWF and Ranged, able to heal at early levels. Any type of martial weapon would be fine. Not sure if weapon finesse would work. I just unlocked drow so I would like to use that, but any race that fits would work. I don't have any tomes yet, but I am hopeful. For the cleric route the drow faith enhancement looks nice, but the follower of the silver flame might be better for the extra bonus to hit. Not sure about dragonmarks, I have never used them. For the bard route, I am not really sure what specialty I would go with. I like being self sufficient, so I can PUG in a groups with no healer, or not be a burden and be able to solo quests.
    Thank you in advance!

    Default New player

    Hello, Sigfried.
Have found this post, and first of all I want to thank you for your previous help for all the people who don't do the thinking for themselves for various reasons. Myself, is a new to DDO player, but I have been playing D&D for years. Actually, it's even the first game of MMORPG I've ever played. I'm new to Eberron too, haven't played this setting ever. So, as you can see, lots of stuff in this game is completely new to me.
What I humbly request from you is a build which suits me best. Go wild with just a few guidelines.
I've always played a stealth/utility character in D&D. Mostly rogues and rangers. My favorite is Lara Croft-like ranger/rogue. In computer games I prefer single player (besides being stuck now in this game :-)), so I would like a character who can be capable of "not having buddies around". That's mostly it. Again, go wild, where you think would make my character more interesting. Try challenging too. And it would be a shame to roll some 'solid' build. This forum is full of them, and most guys go for 'sure thing'. I don't afraid to die, even lots of times, as long as the game's challenging.
I thank you for your advice in advance.

Still reading this?? Id like to make a request.

First Ill tell you what I don't want or dislike. I HATE being held. I think that makes my char the angriest when he's held. I hate low hp (my ftr main has 170hp and get's held no matter what he rolls). I hate seeing my health go down so fast.

What I do like. Cool weapons, especially paras. I like stat damage weapons. I like being able to kill things without them being able to touch me. If caster, I like having a lot of spell points because most quests, I don't know where shrines are so I don't know if I'm using enough or too many spell points. So if I have a lot of spell points, I can go pretty good and still make it to the shrine. I do not have a 32 point build. I like being able to solo if I want to.

    Any suggestions?

Sounds like a Paladin/Ranger or Paladin/Sorcerer is your way to go... probably dwarf, alternatively drow...

    Default new build request

    Hi,
    wow...111 served .

Ok, lets see what we can get here. Looking for a TWF build.

    1. Good DPS, meaning I would like to see more times that he hits using two weapons in stead of seeing miss...miss....miss...that does get frustrating.
    2. No Exotic weapons, no would prefer no weapon finesse. It limits my options for weapons that are more easily obtainable such as longswords or scimatars. But if you add an exotic weapon or weapon finesse, please back up the reasoning behind it.
    3. High saves, or should I say higher saves.
    4. Decent AC and/or HP. I would like to survive the fight without being a huge burden to the healers.
    5. rogue capabilities, self healing, and UMD a plus but not needed.

Put together with any race, any class(es). I leave the creativity up to you and look forward to what you come up with. I'm going to read thru the links you've posted just make sure I didn't glance over a build like this one.

    Thx,
    Dae

hey man, saw this offer, and another build of yours (bard/ranger/fighter - but warchanter), so thought i would ask the question regarding getting a build.

looking at elven, spellsinging archer (bow). thinking extend feat, and as many archer feats as i can get. songs maxxed for damage and to hit. not worried about cc or healing overly much. prbly take mental toughness to qualify.

not sure of the mix of levels, and whether fighter should figure in there. 14 bard/ 2 ranger? or 10 bard ?ranger (any fighter)?

not particularly interested in hand-to-hand combat, and if umd comes out high well that is a bonus. i suspect i will want jump maxxed.

level progression has me a little stumped.

hope you can give me some direction.

    Default Dwarf Tank/Dps

Hey, i need a dwarven tank/rouge that can get traps and fight.

I was thinking ranger11/rouge1/monk4, that gives u evasion, alot of skills, featherfall, fast movement, and alot of feats. I will have +1 tomes at lvl 1. I will also have 32 pt build.

I wanted ur opinion and any suggestions because i have a drow ranger11/rouge2/monk1 which im leveling and so far she has been a blast.

    Thanks in advance.

(Ps. would like it to be a character with ALOT of versitality)

4 monk lvls would be a waste since u want dps kamas isn't the way to go, go 12 ranger 3 rogue 1 monk get a max barkskin from that and an extra 1 d6 sneak attack and a couple decent enhancments

monk slow fall doesn't work the way u think doesn't really help till high monk lvls and u have to be centered to use slowfall or monk fast movement but you will still retain the wisdom bonus to ac even uncentered just not wearing armor or a shield
