    Default Drow Pure Rogue

    I searched the boards but couldn't find this so please point me in the right direction if this has already been done.

    Looking to build a Drow pure Rogue.

    Priorities are melee using Weapon Finesse(Rapiers) with possible TWF if it makes sense and Disable Traps & Open Locks.

    Not really interested in ranged weapons.

    I'm sure that you have had this one already. I am looking for the best rogue/ranger combo. I want more rogue than ranger, so I am thinking 2 levels ranger for TWF. Thanks.
    I am only 28 point atm, but drow is open and preferred.

    Warforged, TWF STR Ranger with STWF, Large TWF, and Whirlwind Attack, Must be able to cast Barkskin. Do not want to have to rely on DEX for TWF, ITWF, GTWF, or STWF. Am interested in the Temptest build. 32pt Built Cap at lvl 16. Multiclass if able/need to. Tumble as skill.

    Smile Arcane Archer

    I would like to request a build for Arcane Archer.

    I was thinking: True neutral drow with more focus on the ranger side but it would be nice to be able to haste myself. So that would mean 10 ranger/6 wizard or 11 ranger/5 wizard.

    Feats absolutely needed would be:
    Weapon Focus: Ranged
    Point Blank Shot
    Mental Toughness

    Nice feats to have would be:
    Extend
    Power critical
    Improved critical: Ranged

    The toon would also need UMD since I only get good gear that is race restricted, and it's never drow. I just got 2 sets of armor +7 bracers, both with UMD: 20 (dwarf and halfling). I could get the Golden Cartouche for the +3 to UMD to equip my gear and I have a few +5 cha items floating around for the cha boost. I also have a +1 tome for every stat but dex.

    I don't know how effective a build like this would be. If you have another suggestion for ranger/wizard levels I'm open to that. Thanks in advance!

    I want to build a decent combo of soloable and group player.
    requirements:
    Must be warforged
    32 pt build available.
    will equip on the run ( what I find or is available readily/cheaply nothing rare or hard to find)

    optional would likes
    UMD
    traps and locks to do optionals on some of the solo stuff.

    Don't mind spending some cash for tomes around level 5-6 ( to see if i like playing this build)

    I'm looking for a character who is as useful as possible to a party with being ranger splashing paladin. I like divine grave plus evasion, but would rather get evasion from ranger than rogue if possible. I don't have 32 point yet, but a 32 point build would give me something to work for. Drow would also be good. My hope is to make a DPS character that would have good saves to solo sometimes when I can't find a group. (I play non peak hours). If this is a common character type, I apologize.

    Default WF Tank

    Ok, I'll give this a try. I do a LOT of builds myself so I'd love to see what you come up with.

    I want a Warforged tank, mainly fighter, say, up to 12 fighter or so. I'd like to get Weap Focus, Weap Spec, Greater Weap Focus, Greater Weap spec, but if you think you can come up with something changing the levels around, let your creativity go.

    Focus on damage reduction through possibly Adamantine Body, DR Feats and DR Enhancements.

    DPS should be primarily focused on as much 1 handed DPS as possible. This character definitely needs to be doing very good DPS. Would be using a shield most of the time. Consider Deathnip a possibility in your build.

    If possible, I would like this build to be able to achieve a high AC. I want to be able to tank through both AC and DR at times.

    You can use any tomes up to +2 in the build. Also you can go ahead and factor in raid loot if you want to do equipment.



    I'll have another build I'm working on shortly for you and see what you come up with

    Smile The Amish Battle Cleric

    After attempting (a while ago) to build an Amish Battle Cleric, I would love for an expert to take a stab at it.

    Requirements:
    Human
    32 pt build
    Primarily Cleric class
    Warhammer(s)
    Kill Stuff
    Heal Stuff as needed
    Possibly a TWF
    Not reliant on a bunch of tomes or super-uber gear

It seems like a long time but I think them over, plug them into the build machine to verify numbers, do a bit of reasearch on feats and abbilities as needed, and fill out my ever changing build format sheet.

    I started the thread when I had more free time than usual and the last 6 months I've had less than usual. If I ever decide I'm totaly closing shop on the thread I'll be sure to let folks know. I did announce that instead of guaranteeing builds it's more like a lottery now and I just do them as I have time/energy.

    Default Request - Durable battle rogue

    Here's a request.

    Rogue 11, Ftr 2, Pal 3 character that's a capable trapsmith, durable (though good saves, imp. evasion, reasonable HP, and capacity to UMD Heal and Stoneskin scrolls), and that can dish out significant Sneak Attack damage (possibly dualwielding). Finesse or not, as you see fit.


    Assume 32 point builds, access to +6 stat items, 1 or 2 unbound +2 tomes (they drop more now ) and any gear that's not absolutely uber (i.e. no Tome of Untold Legends turnins, no W/P rapier) but more common high-end stuff like Vorpals are fine, as are Altar of Subjugation green steel items.

    tried posting this to cleric forum with few results. as i have played with this i spose im imagining some sort of Justiciar type character for Vulkoor. so at least a few usable dmg and cc spells and the ability to survive in melee.

    So are you going to be a battle cleric? Or you just looking for survivability? And you've only planned out to lvl 9, how many more cleric levels were you planning on taking, and where are your stat points/enhancements going?

    My cleric is straight cleric, lvl 16. She is extremely good at surviving, just because of her stats and the cleric buffs she can cast on herself. I know from playing on my other toons that I have little use for a cleric who has a wis of lower than 24 because there are runes and stuff in the game where you'll need at least that much wis to get them. Not to mention the amount of spell points, etc. Just my opinion of course.

    I would like to request a Ranger/Bard or Bard/Ranger build that focuses mainly on buffing/healing but has the best ranged damage you can pump in there without gimping my healing and buffing abilities. 32 point build, Elf preferably. Thanks in advance!

    i would like some fair balance between melee and casting, leaning a bit towards the casting side. im envisioning a justiciar character for Vulkoor. tracking down those who are flagrantly injust in their opposition. rp aside i would like to be able to keep up, i dont have to max out the charts on either end (melee/caster).

    oh and i took it to lvl 9 here just to get a first feel for how it might work.

    course i would also like to know w/o +tome/item will it be possible to get those base stats to a reasonable level?

    Default WF warchanter with effective Stunning Blow

    I want to play a WF warchanter that uses Stunning Blow. I've picked up a Hammer of the Leaden Clouds, and figured it would be perfect for it. So a hammer and board guy. Mauls for when I really need to use DPS. I just like hammers lol

    The guild I'm in also focuses on stealth skills (hide/ms/jump), so that would be cool too (plus the bard's haggle, perform and UMD).

    I don't have much experience playing with bards (I have none), but were I to play one, this is what I'd want.

    I'm thinking some ftr lvls (2-4) for feats, and a sorc lvl for sp and easier arcane wand access. Bard the rest of the way. (cc/spell pen is pretty much non existent)

    Expect no tomes, but 32 pt build is accessible. No raid/uber rare loot (but if you'd like to, you can show what it can do for the build). End game viability would be cool, but I'm a casual gamer, so I can't expect much without the toys for it.

    I have a build request if you don't mind:


    I'd like to have a drow TWF shortsword battle cleric of Vulkoor. He would depend on his blades and summons ( avatar of Vulkoor) for damage and use magic for buffs, utility and healing. I'd also like him to be at least semi decent at turning undead if possible. I'd be willing to take a level or two of fighter if you believe it would greatly help the build. If possible I'd like to have extend somewhere in there for longer lasting buffs, but whatever you think would work best.

    Hi,
    a WF(could be other than wf if had to be) wiz/cleric (could be sorc cleric if had to be) who excelled in solo play.
    Spells used mainly for self buffs and crowd control so being able to do damage with a weapon would be great.
    Level split was wondering about 7/13 but really dont know what would work best.
    32 point currently unavailable but do have a +1 wis tome available atm.

    I absolutely adore the "Mistress of Mayhem" sorc you came up with for me. She has become my main. I also can't wait to see what you do with the Arcane Archer you have pending to work up, as I'm thinking of re-rolling my ranger. I was curious about another build though. I would like trying to run a wiz/rogue. I would prefer not to sacrifice any rogue skills (ie. traps & locks) and Evasion is greatly wanted. Casting can more be supplementary. I'm open to sorc if that would work more smoothly with the rogue, although I can't imagine why it would. No WF please! I know you are swamped with requests, but hope you can get around to this one eventually. Thank you so much.
