Sure, no problem. BTW, this build was made before Force of Personality existed. If I were to rebuild it today, one of the first things I'd do is fit that feat in there somewhere (probably swap it in at level 1 instead of Iron Will, and then add Iron Will in a bit later), which would give you another +3 to Will Save by the time you are level 9 over what it is now.

From a play perspective I enjoy sneaking and ranged combat. I also enjoy melee but I find it generally more fun to eliminate enemies and complete quests while minimizing risk .
I'll see if I can work something up for you but it's a very difficulty thing to do. Soloing in DDO is really hard at higher levels. Even expereinced players with all the extra gear and gold in the world and who have done the quests dozens of times can find it hard to pull off. To take on soloing through the game without any other characters, twinking gear, sources of gold or knowledge of the game is going to be pretty frustrating no matter your build.

At low levels the easiest solo buiild is a really tough battle cleric. They are cheap, powerfull and have all the tools you need to survive most quests. At higher levels sorcerers tend to be the most potent because they have a deep spell pool, fast reaction times wtih their spells, and very powerful spells. Warforged casters are a way to kind of brindge the two concepts as you get the spell power of the caster and the healing of the cleric. But a warforged wizard really requires a lot of good gear and money to get started with. Otherwise they are pretty hard to get out of the low levels.

I think you are best off cutting your teeth on a decidedly non stealthy cleric, and then perhaps once you get some expereince wtih the game you can move on to a WF wizard (needs some money and exp to play well) or a Drow rogue/wizard (kind of the ultimate steatlh assassin in ddo).

Here is what I came up with as a starter character for you

Just got 1750 favor last weekend, and playing with 32 points now.

Have experience with a pure rogue to 15, and I like him, decent DPS and trapmonkeys fairly well.

Have also experimented with a Bard before, although bailed on her at level 9, she was pretty gimped.

I am requesting a bard/rogue build, or at least some insight into why it won't work. Maybe a bard/barbarian or a bard/ranger would be better for what I want to do.

I would like to be able to buff the party well, cast some crowd control, back up heal (although not my focus), and dish out DPS. Traps and locks would be a bonus.

I have tried to make this multi class a few times, and had trouble both due to the 28 point build and the complete lack of knowing what I was doing and taking feats/skills that were totally useless.

    Hope you can help me.

    Default Good All Around Tank

Ok i have 32 point builds, and Drow open, i would like some form of tank that has at least a standing unbuffed ac of 50, at least 400 hp, good saves, and be able to put out good/high damage, i prefer Sword and Board or Dual wield. And i don't have fancy W/P weapons. Race/class are unimportant to me as long as he can meet the above spec's and i would also like for him to at least be able to self heal to some extent.

Looking for a Drow Multi, with 3Pal, at least 3 Rog (Max 6 for WOTM/WOTA) and the rest ranger, Heavy repeater build. Or, if Id be better off going 3Pal/xRog then hit me with it.

I want Cabal trap on normal. No Tomes, Stats are high dex, int, cha (for saves)

Yes, this character already exists. Hes level 5 (2Pal/3Rog) and I want to know where to take him. I have a general Idear, btu could use some input.

    Thanks!

    Default Here is a request

A Warforged Support bard. I could care less about soloing, this carbonized puppy is for WF group support only, and will probably never solo beyond the initial 5 quests.
So in short, a WF Bard to support WF groups only. Fleshies can take care of themselves

    Thanks for looking it over.

Doh, I for got, 28 points only. I'm, not up to the big builds yet

    Default Drow Bard/Barbarian

Since I have not unlocked 32 point builds yet I only really have Drow to work with & was interested in a Bard/Barbarian multiclass build.

-I would like to maximise this characters BAB as much as possible with feats & Buff's while still having access to some healing generally for after combat to be a little more self sufficient with healing.

-Specialise in slashing weapons but able to cope with 2 handed slashers & Sword & Board setups.

-Maintain a good UMD so I can make use of scroll & wands as much as possible.

-I would like to be able to have a decent AC so perhaps buffing then putting armour on afterwards, but I am open to suggestion on this.

    - Spot, Lockpicking & Traps would all be a bonus.

**I dont have much special gear or any tomes to start out with, but a list of items I should obtain in the early, mid & late levels would be great if possible.

Interested to see what you come up with, Thanks.

Hi Sigtrent, I really enjoy reading your work here, its a great idea and has given me some fun ideas of my own. I see you have many requests in front of you, but when you get a chance I would like to make a build request. The following are things I would like to see in the build.

    Concept
The basic concept of the build is an elven archer bard. Increasing party damage through songs is her biggest party contribution, but when the songs are done she should be able to pull out the bow and do some decent DPS.

    Requirements
    • 32 point build
    • Decent Ranged DPS (manyshot and bowstrength a must)
    • At least 9 bard levels
    • Enough UMD to use items

    Prefered but not Required
    • Elf
    • 14 bard levels (I know this doesnt leave much room and honestly if you come up with something creative that has less than 14, run with it!)
    • Good Hide/Move Silently skills
    • Spellsinger (if you want you can even do warchanter if you think wasting the melee feats is worth it)
    • Enough UMD to back up rez fairly consistently

-All +1 Tomes available, but I'd like to avoid +2s if possible (not a problem if they are absolutely needed though)

Thanks again, and I realize this probably keeps you very busy so no rush - I'm not sure I'll be playing her soon anyway.

    Talking Human Battle Cleric

I know everyone says Dwarf is the best race for a battle cleric but I would like to build the best 28 point human battle cleric possible.

I want him to be able to hit often & have a good DPS, he also needs to have good Hit points & spell points & he will probably need a good AC.

On skills well he needs concentration obviously but it would be nice if I had a few points to drop into haggle also since clerics are reknown for being poor with all the wands & scrolls they use.

I am open to suggestion on this but I was thinking sword & board using a bastard sword. I already have some +2 str, wis & dex gear & some plate armour (+1 to 4) shields & bastard swords he could use.

It seems to me like the best way to go would be a maximum of 2 fighter levels but I leave that up to you.

    Default Battlefield Tactician

I was looking for something that capitalizes on the tactical abilities.
Preferably a dwarf or Warforged, but if theres something better, use that instead.
this will be a 28 point build, with no tomes. I cant afford them, and my highest level character is 4 right now so take that into consideration.

The idea behind this character is more of a melee supporter, although he should be able to dish out some nice damage. I was thinking THF, maybe specialized in bludgeon, but regardless, this guy's forte is stunning blow and trip. keeping the enemy from doing to his friends, what his friends are trying to do the enemy.

    Hi,
I'm looking for a Halfling/Elf rogue that duel wields kurki's or a dwarf that uses picks. And I would like both to have some archery back-up. Preferably no more than 6 levels of something other than rogue. So atleast 12 levels of rogue. Decent saves and HP's would be nice to but not required. Main focus will be on DPS... Maybe with Way of the Assasin, or Tempest if that would work any better. And I still want to maintain a decent Disable, open, UMD, etc...
And anyother ideas anyone has go for it. Huh, just thought of this... Maybe a greatsword? Could be intresting...

    Thanks in advanced,
    Trymann :-)

    Doh, forgot... Preferrably 28pt build.

I'd like to run one of these as a 28 pt Warforged. If it optimizes better as a non-WF, I'd be curious what adjustments you'd suggest to convert the build to WF.
So, I hear that one day we may get Familiars...
