offline character access?

Most other MMOs out there have ways to access your character offline (vanguard example).

I would love to either be able to save my character info to a file, or (even better), access it from a webpage.

So, my question to the development team is this: is this something that is being considered or planned for?

hit cntrl+p to put a screenshot in your My documents folder, in the DDO sub folder. Take pictures of your stats, skills, feats, ect.

Sure... .. what you really meant was a screenshot for each item in your bank, inventory and ragdoll, plus 5-20 for your character sheet (have to scroll those most of the time).

This was a request for something a little less kludgy than 100 screenshots for one snapshot of your character..

I really like the idea Eld. Being able to access character info offline would let me do things like update trade lists, plan advancement and contemplate rerolls cause I forgot to add in ranks of UMD...

Saw the OP and thought meh... couldn't care really. But this idea about character sheets printing off for PnP would be fantastic.

I thought the same thing about the auction... Why not have a very limited ebay-like site where you could pop on from work (during your break of course :-) to check and bid on auctions you might be interested in.

Or, some basic maintenance... moving stuff from toon to bank... Plain old vendor selling and repair, etc.

It's no big deal for people who have the time to play all day. But I don't. And I would love to be able to take care of some of this stuff during spare moments without having to have the client installed so I could actually play for the full duration of my available game time.

please oh please oh please... who's leg do i have to hump at turbine in order to get something like this implemented? i believe this is the only MMO out at the moment that doesn't have this type of functionality.

I really like this idea. To be able to access inventory and character list offline would make me even more productive at work!

The offline AH may be taking it a little to far for me. I still need a job for food and such.
