I think this is just Dreamtheater's normal cycle. He plays for as long as he can until his behavior earns him a reputation he cannot stomach and then there is a big "rebirth" of Dreamtheater, where everything is gonna be all sunshine and super-friends.

His first transformation that I know of was when he "left" Dragonmark Knights to form a guild composed of entirely new players (hmm I wonder why no one that already knew him joined the guild.)

His behavior at the new guild was so odious that he was soon confronted with an ultimatum to step down or the entire guild would disband and reform without him.

He then rebirths as Awaken, and states that he's only going to be in his own guild with no other players allows. This lasts a week or so before he joins Praetorians, with once again, the goal to be the biggest guild on Argonessen (not the best mind you, but the biggest). (Side note - Allorious, my friend, I knew wisdom was your dump stat, but jeez!)

Last week, another rebirth - his Dreamtheater account is deleted, (lies) and he's quitting the game for good. This dramatic declaration is another charade and in just a few days he's back to his old ways on the server.

Now, I suspect, his new plan is to reroll with an anonymous character and try his best to conceal his identity. I have my suspicions about who this character is, but I trust Dream to reveal himself through his actions eventually. My advice would be to try this rebirth/reroll on a new server instead, he has certainly worn out his welcome here.

1. He did build AUM so I solicited his assistance
2. He did join for 1 day then left
3. I dont care about being the best, just fun. TF was fun once and as I recall was the best. But I have grouped with some newer TF players that would not fulfil that charter either.
4. I am, however, the best.

I have had disagreements with Dream before and after he left but that statement is simply untrue. When he left many of us asked him to reconsider and at the very least stay on as a guild member even if he wasn't up to being leader.

It isn't necessary to make things up that never happened...

That article is referring to gamers that threaten quit due to game changes, is this applicable here? I was disappointed that the 'Frontline' article wasn't the the real news outlet Frontline from PBS.

I've searched for the "study in 2006 by Willbank's research team" and haven't found anything yet. I'll keep looking though. I'd genuinely like to know.

I am cautious however since 73.8% of statistics are made up on the spot.

Take a close look at the rest of the site the article is linked from and then think if you should really be hunting for this study.

In less than a month he had more than 50 members in his guild with a nice web site and good leadership, dmk had many members that had access to his site and the guild members i talked with liked him alot, then tinted faces started there **** with him and thats what started all the chaos in his guild. he was not the kind of guy to keep his mouth shut the faces new this and keep the bull **** going knowing dream would not stay quite. so i will say all in tinted faces dont start spouting lies or spreading rumors know the facts or shut up.

I do know the facts, I played with dream everyday before he made AUM, I was a DMK member, and I still take his reasons as a personal insult. Recently, I tried to bury the hatchet and what did I recive for my efforts? A mouthfull of abuse.

Made some corrections. Akla, you seem like a decent enough person but you really should direct your comments at the correct people and not everyone in the guild. You talk about lies, but you just slandered the entire guild.
