Default Either my guild is doomed or saved now.

I just got a laptop to go side-by-side with my main pc for all my multitasking needs. So either they will be saved because at least when I'm surfing the web while running quests I will have the DDO screen still up or doomed because I will be surfing even more.

I had my secondary PC on a KVM until the fan started grinding. So now I just play in windowed mode and keep a browser open for downtime and easier updating of trade lists.

Less choice in music randomness, but still.

    Surfing? What's wrong with you?

Two computers, by definition, require two accounts. That way, when you log on, you have 1/3 of your party ready to go.

I have a 14th level bard on a second account, he has many uses. When playing alone, I sometimes bring him behind my barbarian to buff and haste him. When in a group, he is an excellent hastebot. Plus there are other fun uses... last night I ran the titan in a PUG. As usual, someone realized they forgot to repair their sigil *after* we arrived at the Twilight Forge. No problem, had him drop group and recall to the foothold, where my mule patiently waited to teleport him back to Twilight Forge.

There are 2 problems with 2 accounts.

    1. The laptop is not a gaming machine (though it does have it installed just incase).

    2. I have too much trouble leveling up lowbies.

#1 is not really a problem, I have a 3-year old laptop that I use... crank the graphics all the way down and go to town.

#2, well, yeah, I hear ya. I can't seem to get past level 5 with my most recent lowbie, I just get so **** bored.

There is also problem #3. I have no more characters I want to create. The last time my guildies forced me to create a new character I spent an hour trying to think up some concept that was interesting to me and viable as a character. Came up with nothing in the end.

I have four suggestions for you:

    1) Ranger. I couldn't believe how fun this was to play, especially as a twinked 32 pt build. Not that kills mean a lot, but since birth, my ranger has led the kill count in 99% of the quests I was ran... awesome DPS, both melee and ranged (well, with manyshot at least). Also incredibly good at surviving... my ranger solos lots of quests.
    2) Barbarian. Not all that different from your fighter, at least until later levels. At that point, you find yourself a biiiig two-hander and 1- or 2-shot anything in your way. Insane DPS... hard to really understand just how much until you see a well-built and well-played barbarian beating on something with tons of HP (like Velah, the DQ, or the Titan).
    3) Batman build. Never made one myself, I'm too much of a min-maxer... sharing those points across all those stats is painful to me. But their survivability is amazing. Or try the "new" batman - Ranger 10/Pally3/Rogue1 (Rogue optional, only if you want to do traps and locks... not worth it imo).
    4) WF Wiz/Sorc. Crank up the con, take a toughness feat, and use the enhancements. Excellent at surviving, a completely different method of play than the typical, main-stat-max'd caster.

Just a couple ideas. My last attempt at a lowbie was #4, the one before that was a creative build of my own - Ranger 10/Pally 2/Wizard 2. Both got to level 5 and were pretty cool builds, but I'm just sooooo **** sick of harbor/market/house quests that I couldn't continue. My guess is you might have the same problem
