I just went in to the storm reaver, got 9 orbs lit and the lever pulled, it just isn't that hard, no evasion, no ability to cast resist buffs or haste.

I think your going to find the other 2 servers that joined just as uber/noobish as Adar, and that proclaiming feats like this mean nothing to anyone. Maybe just maybe being the first to finish the Raid in Mod 5 will get you a lollipop.

Congratz on your Titan run, I have no doubt you are a skilled and experienced player. Now that we all know
that you can run with the best of em and you staked your claim, you can chill with the accomplishment posts so as
not to embarrass yourself in the future. I know It is important to stake your claim as you are headed to a new world,
but you should probably know a little about what we've all already done before you declare your greatness.

Most of the people here on Sarlona are not Punks and are far from being lack wits, so please slow your roll with the name calling
so as not to offend everyone reading this post.

I'm amazed at the number of people that totally missed the OP's point...

I blame it mostly on the fact that text doesn't have tone, so it's hard to understand when someone honestly thinks they've accomplished something of note or they are just using a recent achievement to mock the elitists.

Either way, I prefer to rise above it. I celebrate guild achievements publicly, mostly just to show my fellow guild members how much I appreciate their contributions, and very rarely use them to boast about an accomplishment. However, I think there are quite a few DDO players that can't handle it from an ego stand point, and thus you get that knee jerk reaction of "so what, it's not that big of a deal!?!!?"

When a Redemption member posts about a recent conquest, please understand it's not to brag, but merely to celebrate the accomplishment.

Regardless, responding in kind only ensures their justification for being rude and doesn't portray you as anything but similar in nature.

The first line of the OPs post (now edited) can be seen in post #26. Read that and it's actually really easy to see why most people took the statement (whether it is just celebration or bragging or whatever) as they did.

Now, if they post and start it like "We just did DQ elite two man in 15 minutes. Top that!", people will take it as bragging and respond as such.

If you come out without any statements that directly or indirectly say "we're better than you", there's no problem. But statements that are like that make a problem.
