A better approach would be to make it a world broadcast, so it goes in everyone's chat boxes and in the little alert thingy, rather than having it right in the middle of the screen.

But if that's not workable--please do away with it entirely.

I think at this point we all know that people can do the raid, we don't need a newsflash every time someone does it.

Get rid of it completely. I don't care to know when a raid is beaten.

And on a side note, I have been told by many people that you can turn off the DM text under your UI options and you won't see the raid success/failure message anymore. The downside is, I assume you won't be able to see any of the DM messages anymore in the middle of your screen. Sometimes I think it would be a worthwhile trade off.

I haven't tried this myself - yet.

I used to like it but now I would have to agree it's time to get rid of it. I am tired of getting tells everytime I fail soloing it asking if I need help(i.e. free loot since my wiz doesn't need much)

this global/dmtext message HAS TO GO! or an option to turn off would be nice ^_^

i cant believe there is an option to show/hide a dragonmark but there isnt an option to turn this off?!?!

ok this might have been cool when it was new to show props for the first people to do this, but enough is enough, its foolish to keep broadcasting this at all.

I have to say i quite liked (and do for future raids) this idea in the first month or two when the raid was first being attempted and beaten or failed. There weren't many groups doing it so you knew which guilds were to ask for advise or maybe you have friends in that guild and you liked congratulating them or whatever when they won. However, i have to very much agree that its pretty out of control now with so many groups attempting.. especially with the fact the quest is so easily repeatable, so a group who fails can go straight back in and try again... just for 15 minutes to see their name up again, and then maybe a 3rd time another 15 minutes later when they win.

It's been long enough since mod 4 - and i don't think people particularly care who is winning and losing that raid anymore

Agreed! This is totally annoying. Ok...it's kinda fun to see it about someone you know, esp someone you haven't played with for awhile, but I can easily give that up to not have it in my way any more.

Devs, could one of you please let us know if you're doing anything about this or not? And, if not, why that is.
