Ranger Feats?

I'm a bit perplexed... at lvl 2, rangers get the feat rapid shot for free, however it states in the hover over that the feat has a prereq called point blank shot, which I don't have... so, how is it I'm getting a feat without having the prereq, and does it work without the prereq?

Yeah, ranger feats are a little odd that way. Since it's a class granted feat, the prereqs are waved. Same way if you had, say, a 10 DEX, you would still get all the TWF feats as you leveled up your ranger, despite not meeting the listed prereq.

Your Rapid Shot will work just fine.
