    Default Stuck on connect.

    when I try to play DDO, the game update progress gets stuck on the connect task with the message, "A connection attempt failed" I try waiting for hours and It still doesn't work. Thank you in advance.

    I could be wrong here, but that sounds very much like a firewall issue. Check to see that your firewall allows the DDO launcher full access to the internet, and then try again.

    Well, I thought it was that, but it worked earlier this week, on july 30.

    After every client patch the file needs to be readded to the exception list since it is changing.

    After an update you will need to readd any exceptions you have in your firewall as the program changes. If that does not help please post a tracert to gls.lotro.com along with who your isp is, where you connect from, how you connect and what software firewalls and antivirus programs you use. Also state if you have a router, thanks!
