Is Adar merging into sarlona?

I have read a bunch of posts about the folks from sarlona welcoming us to there server. But that makes me think... Us from adar have a much higher population.. Yes they get there server name... But are we moving there.... But will the majority of the players there be from adar or sarlona? I have heard the term refuges alot... But at this point in time I have given up on being a refugee.... Think I rather be called an invader! lol

who said anything about being leet? I am saying there will be a big culture shock. Adar has a strong economy where supply and demand drives the market. you guys are gonna cry the when you look at the auction house on monday. this is the main point i was making.

The auction house will the biggest shock to you guys on sarlona. As for a whole leet thing i dont see where you get off with that statement. The comparisons made from our server to yours from what i have seen is econmy wise. And from day one you took that the wrong way thinking we meant we're leet character wise....... Im sure some adar people will take down some of your people in pvp and im sure some of your sarlona people will do the same to us. If there was one server so leet that they cant be beat that would be cool. But of course that leet of a server does not exist. I am one to say i dont want to be on your server in the first place. But you need to except it and so dont i. And it does not really matter what anyone thinks about your server and our server because they will all be the same on monday and there's nothing we can do about it...

really that was the main point u where makeing... that's good for you maybe you should put your points out there better.... instead of tossing a general trash talking statement out there for people to take in the way the majority of your server is talking about sarlona...

I agree I missed those threads. As for the statement that the Adar "economy" is run by supply and demand...please lets not hurt ourselves here greenspan...What do you think Sarlona's is governed by...roleplaying ??? I been to adar and seen your ah....I honestly couldn't even tell the difference...if anything Sarlona prices were more extreme. I know most of the vocal posters have said that its all in fun..and I am cool with that...I have don the same...but I really hope that some of you don't actually believe what you post.

If you do...then come down to the lobster the first day of the merge... and me and half our server will introduce you to our "roleplaying" skills. Adar...as a server...has a big mouth. I am looking forward to see if you guys back up what you hype. Not that pvp is some all encompassing skill that measures someones worth as a player. Not at all...but still...I will enjoy your frustration...and I won't elaborate further. We pawn quests too...but unfortunately we can't tag you along to see that . Anyways .. I look forward to meeting and grouping with all of you come monday and hopefully the lag don't mess up our minglings...

Its funny how this thread ran way of what I tried to start it about. I'm not gonna get in a "who's vorpal is bigger than the others" contest. Made 2 toons on sarlona to check it out and got them both to lvl 7-8. I know when I looked at the auction house I wished I had some money from home to take advantage of a couple sweet deals I couldn't afford yet. I played with a bunch of folks I really didn't want to ever play with again. But then again Got folks on adar I don't wanna play with either. Think I met maybe 3 folks I really liked and hope to see them around after the merge... Fact of the matter is though....

You either see threads saying, Oh welcome from sarlona... Like we are gonna be your guests.

Or threads like this one is turning into... The old we better than you argument.
I'm not gonna get into whether on server has a better player base or average skill cause its a mute point. My point was I really don't like these refugee posts and the welcome to our home type bs. After the merge there will be more of us from adar there than from sarlona.

Only turbine knows the true ammount of people on each server that are active wouldn't they choose the servers with the most ppl to stay on as the one merged server so there are less people overall ****ed about the merger?.

Welcome to our server is us being nice and not like a xorian that hates everyone you should realize that and appreciate that we aren't all a bunch of jerks.

Our economy is driven by the AH aswell as every other server but some of us like to lowball things why because we can the only way prices will even out is if we take it into our own hands and fight the plat sellers with lower prices and refuse to buy then that high.

I put things up for what I think they are worth plat being a non issue i don't feel the need to charge insane prices for things feel free to post them whatever price you wish i will continue to sell things at a reasonable price.

As for the ****ed off posts from some sarlonites it may be due to the fact that we have welcomed both servers and truly feel for the loss of your server name and have the decency to WELCOME you and still get these posts from the other servers craping on us it gets old.

Who cares who is where.
If Adar is going to have more people then Sarlona don't you think that Sarlona would be the server that was moving to Adar?
No matter whether you are from Aerenal or Adar, you will be from Sarlona now. Adar and Aerenal is dead. When people from all 3 servers realize that things will be better.
If there are problems with it, simply stop playing the game or create characters on another existant server.
Things of the past should stay there. Adar is the past...let it die and remember how it was.

Maybe you have 50 million folks that log in once a month. Fact is on a day to day basis there are more folks on adar. I don't base this on merlask's lil report. Actually I think its bs. But I have to say she spent alot of time on it and its the best there is. Srry mer but I didn't get the same feel of the server you did. And maybe having a +1 loot/xp weekend during your fact finding skewed things.

I might have mentioned this... there are more of us than you. So its not really a merge... Sarlona will become the new adar, with some new faces.

So, actually, the ONLY thing that will change (other than some player names) is the name on the little button you click to start the game. Same Stormreach, Same Marketplace, Same Lobster etc, etc, etc. It's not like Adar had some zones Aerenal didn't have. Sarlona didn't have more quests than the others. The only difference anyone will notice is more LFMs. Oh and Coyle kicks butt on Sarlona...seriously, on OUR server Coyle is 9 feet tall and actually contributes to the party instead of just dieing really fast....No not really..Coyle sucks everywhere and we can't knock Nat Gann off his bamboo pole either. Welcome fellow players!

Yep. Some of will be FROM Adar. Some of us will be FROM Aerenal. and some of us will be FROM Sarlona.

Quarion mentioned the merger logistics depended on technology. For all any of us know, the character db's from our former servers will get scripted on a box at Turbine Central High Command, while the MCSE's configure a completely new cluster in a hollow mountain. For some reason the new server happens to carry the name Sarlona. Perhaps in a bizarre twist, it primarily uses machines from the Adar cluster. That sounds like work
