Right as we finished a quest... Exp has not even been handed out... it crashed int hat split second between the events... Oh well.
Hope it recorded...was a simple quest for favour..just do not want to run it again.

8:45p EST... server merge looked like it went well and then KABOOM! Mass boot and the world comes crashing down. Maybe the merged server can't handle the new masses?

Well, lets hope this explains why one of my toons did not recieve mail from an alt right before we all got booted....God I can only hope, because I am becoming quite angry at just the thought that the attached item might be gone!!!

GIANTHOLD TOR! WHILE FIGHTING THE WHITE DRAGON, OUT OF NO WHERE IT SAID 5 Minutes until server goes down. NOT EVEN 2 MINUTES LATER ( we have the dragon and giant down) it then sais 9 seconds left and boots us off!!!! Talk about a warning! Khyber is sweet as all.

they dont care about us. just as long as they get there money. hey they put 3 servers in 1 wow!!!! that means a cheaper bill for them. but we still pay the price. i dont know if they ever herd of a backup server in case one goes down?? oh i forgot that would cost money. GOT LAG!

Obviously they miscalculated the traffic when they merged these 3 servers.

In all likelyhood, "Khyber" is not one physical device. Its probably a cluster of blade servers with various server-type processes, one or more of which is fubar.
