I left a message in the guild forums, but this is for my non guilded buds, I have to leave for a bit, Not sure how long its going to take to work everything out, but as it stands I have no time for ddo any more. I hope to pop in the forums from work, but as for sitting down at home and playing its not going to be happening any time soon, if at all. I will miss you all and hope that in time I will be able to come back to the game I love with the great friends I have here. I will miss you all but real life must be handled 1st. Take care all. Be good to each other and wishing you all the best of luck.
Mike,
A proud NON-officer of MAC.Trust me, I cannot be Trusted!

The Earth is made up of two main types of biomes and aquatic biomes. In each type of biome are organisms that are uniquely suited to that particular enivronment. In this activity, you will consider six major land biomes and four divisons of te marine biomes in order to decide which types of organisms are best suited to each biome. =) now you know. =)
oooop another infraction notice for too short a post lol.
So's hows this:Who/What is MAC …
The theme of our guild, The Mature Adventures Club, is not so much about age as it is the way we conduct ourselves in a mature manner. MAC has been a part of DDO since the beginning, but instead of focusing on that as a point of recruitment, we instead advertise ourselves as a goodtime guild, as that is the type of people that we would like to attract to our ranks. No set schedules, no set styles, no set rules, just a group of likeminded individuals that are tolerant of different styles of play, and individuals real life commitments. Because of this, we have attracted, and continue to attract, some of the best people you will ever meet in DDO. The members of the guild can be seen laughing together, crying together, and enjoying the benefits of friends that are sometimes referred to as family. It’s the people that make this guild what it is, not the name or the numbers.
Best guild ever …
Though there are some that will disagree, to us, MAC is the best guild there is. We do it all. We zerg, we crawl, we play perma-death, we play lowbies, we raid, we farm, and everything in between. Yet we won’t call ourselves a raid guild, or any of the others, because we don’t agree with the classifications. If what you do is zerg, then you may find a guild that solely specializes in that style. If you’re strictly a Perma-death player, then chances are you will be able to find a guild out there that will specialize in that style. However, we still invite you and your play style to join MAC, so as to help build our presence in that arena.
What will you get out of MAC …
The thing is, MAC can only be what the members make it to be, and being in the guild, you will only get out of it what you put into it. If you want the guild to be active, then you will be active in the guild. If you want to zerg, then you’ll zerg. If you want to run lowbies till you know Korthos like the back of your hand, then by all means, do it. So long as it’s what you want to do, you do it respectfully of others, and you can be happy doing it, then there is no problem with it.
The rules …
The rules are simple. We have no rules. We encourage people to run lowbies once a week, we encourage perma-death runs once a week, but these are not requirements in any sense. We don’t micro manage people or events, it’s really all up to you. Everyone has a different way of getting the most out of their MAC status. Whether it’s primarily just participating in one of the most active and advanced DDO Guild forums there is, or its running in one of the most active guilds on Khyber, then you shouldn’t really have a hard time finding something to do, or somebody to do it with.
How we group …
The MAC hierarchy has implemented an event calendar for all its users. Guilded members of the MAC forums are encouraged to use this calendar to set up their own events, or to join in others events. Keep in mind that not everyone in the guild utilizes the forums, so when the time of the event arrives, get your group together and use the in-game guild chat to ask if anybody is interested in joining. Maybe ask a couple of times. If somebody is busy, or off doing their own thing, chances are they won’t be paying too much attention to guild chat. Check the guild listing in the in-game social panel for non-active guildies and send them a tell. Be sure to let them know you’re a MAC member and you were wondering if they would be interested in running a quest with you and your group. Don’t get me wrong, while great possibilities exist with our numbers, there are times and levels when finding a full group is still going to be difficult. The more you put yourself out there, the more you get to know people, and the better chance you’ll have a good time.
How we recruit …
For the first time in our history we have closed open recruitment. The rationale for this is we have had a rash of applicants of late applying based on our guild rank and to be honest some of them did not bother to even read up on us. We are doing this to protect our core values and to lighten the workload of our officers. As a safegaurd, we now only recruit by invite only.
Prerequisites
Must be 21 or older, 18-20 with interview with Featherstone
Must behave in a mature adult and tolerant fashion
One of the following must apply ...
Directly invited by an officer
A relative or IRL friend of a MAC member in good standing
Refered by a MAC member in good standing
A former MAC member that left in good standing, or was dismissed due to inactivity
How To Join
Register to our website and follow the instructions given in your welcome thread. Depending on your circumstances, you may be asked to fill out an application and have your refering member post in your welcome thread.
Newbies …
Rumor spreading around the rumor mill some time ago, was that MAC had turned into a newbie guild. Meaning that we only catered to the new users and didn’t run any end game content. This is only partially true. MAC has had huge influxes of members at times. These members are usually new to DDO or MMOG’s in general, or there returning players that have been gone from DDO for some time. Because we’re a helpful bunch, were more than happy to jump toons to our lowbies for a while and get these users up to speed with the game mechanics. At the release of Mod 9, you wouldn’t think we had a character in the guild over level 4. It was fun to watch our newbs break out into mid level content, and then start flagging for raids. So, are we a newbie guild? Sure, you can add that to our list of styles.
Participation …
Whenever you can participate, you’re welcome to do so. A large number of our community is in game regularly, while and equally large part is sporadic to say the least. Toons that remain inactive in game, may be deleted to keep the guild listing current. This isn’t a ban from the guild, all you have to do is log back into your toon and find an officer to reinstate your guilded status. As with the in-game activity policy, a forum policy regarding inactive users is also enforced. Both policies are provided in the forums. Like the in-game policy, we like to keep our forum member list up to date so that it accurately reflects our status. If you know you’re going to be gone for extended periods of time, let us know by posting in the Guild Hall, so we can make accommodations.
Finally …
While there will always be more to be said, you are herby formally invited to join our brethren … and sisteren … in the best **** guild there is. And, to get you used to hearing it, welcome to MAC!
Register to the forums, and then find an officer in game for an interview. This is most easily done by opening the in-game social panel and clicking on the ’who’ tab, then sorting by guilds. Scroll down the list till you see a section of users belonging to “Mature Adventures Club” (except no substitutes). You can almost always find a guild member in-game that can put you in contact with an officer for an interview. In the event you can’t seem to find an officer on during your times of play, and you’ve actually tried more than once, then you’re encouraged to post the name of your character, and the times were most likely to find you in game, so we can arrange a meeting that way. Do this in your welcome thread that was created in the forums when you registered, and be sure to give us a heads up of about 24 hours so we can plan for the event. We are merely human beings, and have been known to make mistakes at times. We have jobs, families, pets, in-laws, and countless other things that may conflict with playing DDO. Treat us like you would like to be treated, and well have one hell of a time
Long enough for ya?
