Hey MAC,
I just found out you guys have a Permadeath and Roleplaying groups. DWG started both of these, thinking they did not exist on the server. If you are interested in combining efforts, please, PM me.

Well, as Astar pointed out, we all have a good time at THE MAC. But we all like loot, and even some people like favor/xp. ( I am not one of the favor people or xp people!). I think we have some guildies who can get to level 14 in a week and then get 1750 favor in three. There are some guildies who have so much uber gear that they give a way vorps. disruptors and pari's all the time. There are still others with so much cash that they will go buy a 80k pp item off the ah, and then they wont let you pay them back. And last but not least, This is what Leroy Jenkins meant to say at the end of WoW, "I am moving to DDO, at least they got the Dane!"
Hope this sheds some light on how we do things in THE MAC. why don't you come see us!

It accrued to me one day, while lost in the crucible maze, that sure you get a little "how to" course when you first get to stormreach but you don't get a real guild to get you past the lvl 1 and 2 blues. Now, i'm sure that most of the people that come to stormreach can figure stuff out very quickly. Likewise they move up the food chain pretty fast. Or get picked up by a guild and swiped off into the stormreach world. What about those of us that don't get things that fast and need time to get the basics down right. I was one of the ones that just didn't know how to get what i wanted done. For a brief time when i first got to stormreach i was lost. Till I was picked up by my brothers guild and shown and taught what i needed to know. They took me to the waterworks and gave me a lesson in the many uses of grease clickies. 5 minutes of grease with no saving throws, good times were had, anyways, the point is they helped me get the hang of the game. So i have decided to help out our newer people by offering help to all those who want it. I have rolled a up a rogue that i will not lvl past 4, she is there in hopes that i can help people acclimate themselves to the game. I know what your thinking, no grease will be used. Unless the zurgging get out of hand. =) My goal is to get them up and around quickly so they can enjoy the game that much faster. Past couple of days I've pugged out a few times this idea and it seems to help people. We consentrated on the many ways you get around (tele-porting around from house to house etc) and who and where you need to go to get better armor (pawn shops and armors). I showed them basic strategy that must gamers use by second nature, like using a doorway as a good melee point and so on. I encourage more people to do this, i mean really, till the next mod gets here what better way to use your time. Difficulty lvl's might not be the same but the challenges are great, but the rewards are equal to them. Helping others helps you.
thank you for your interest in the MAC, check you xp at the door. LONG LIVE GRUNK!!!!!!!!!!!

The History of Astargras.
Really no one really knows where astargras comes from. Hear tell Astargras's first days in the world where very unkind. Unkind to say the least. His father was a stone cuter and his mothers was a studying cleric. The meet the way most true loves do, well true dwarven loves meet. he feel of this workshop roof and hit the ground at the feet of a beautiful dwarven cleric. She healed his wounds and in time they feel deeply in love. They were a happy loving couple. Astargras came into the world of stormreach under the most horrifying circumstances. His mother and father where taking a trip through the sunkin sewers on study of the ancient stone works. Little astargras was a unwitting passenger to this fateful trip of research. The Family set out and not long after they made there entrance to the sewers Astargras's father was consumed by a giant slime, and in the haste of the moment his mother ran for the exit. Click, and the sounds of rusted metal springs forced two 14 foot blades wast high into there mortal action. Saving Astargras, by the smallest of rolls of fate, however, his mother feel into two peaces. Astargras, paralyzed with force of fear watched his Father and mother consumed by slimes and all other forms of sewer dwellers. Most say that this event as twicked Astargras's mind which makes him a little off. Other say why Astargras's weirdness comes from the fact that his early years were spent surviving on what the sewers provided. All do agree on the next big change in Astargras's life. Bother Augusta Of the SilverFlame found little Astargras in a sewer drain grate. At the time time there wasn't much difference between Astargras and a undead rat. A ferrule dwarf child, most would keep there distance and others would say kill it before it comes after us. Brother Augusta thought different. He gained Astargras's trust and through kindness and love the wild dwarf child learned how to be come the dwarf that he is today.
Thank you for interest in the MAC, If you love xp don't not apply. Long Live GRUNK!!!!!!!!!!!
