No its not closed but you will need a recomendation (sp? ) or an invite from an officer.
The best way to do this is to quest with MAC members. If you like what u see, hit the folks you partied with for a invite.

    Smile MAC member

Since I joined MAC they have helped me so much! Everyone in the guild is friendly and very helpful. Feels great to finally be in a guild where we all can play our own style of play and not get judged by doing so. I continue to learn and better myself when it comes to questing and raiding as a team. Each day when I log on into the guild I know I can look forward to a stress-free not to mention funny jokes and some great questing.

If you have a recommendation from an existing member or officer then you can fill out an application and still join. We have had to beef up entry steps due to a rash of applicants who are chasing guild level. Our old online application and interview process now has the added provision that before you get to apply you must come with member recommendation. We are sorry but the amount of !@#hats applying got out of hand.

Default We do not discrimiate in shroud

We had a great time yesterday running a guild shroud run. We had a shroud virgin who is deaf - so Lenala typed the whole proceedure. Awesome job Lenala - well she is just awesome.
We don't discriminate in our guild - we duly typed that the shroud virgin had to jump Dead centre off the alter into shroud part 5 ... explained very clearly that should he miss the centre we would all die......
Laughing at his expense when he typed "but I DID jump in the centre"!
To further show that we do not discriminate, a teleport was opened to some obscure place (I forget where) - after he had collected his loot - I was too slow to type "do NOT take that teleport'! *poof he was gone!
Probably the only trick we didn't use was grease clickies on the treasure chests.....

Ahhh yes!!!!!, good times. We in the MAC enjoy ALL parts of the game. Which includes practical jokes on each other. I really like the killer docent of doom in PoP. Watching people roll on it is just maddeningly funny, I even got a group of fresh ones to roll for it twice. Now, That was just too much, i almost wet myself. Then i payed their repair bills when we hit town. We share the love and retain the traditions of "good clean fun" in the MAC.

I even embellish that trick, if they smell a rat ----
The first one to pick up the docent goes *poof
The second (a cleric) thinks perhaps she might go *poof and is reluctant to pick it up - so so very sweetly it is explained to her that because she is a cleric - she is immune ---- *poof
    *laughter all round

Ohhh I just noticed to make them ROLL for it! That is too funny - they would certainly think its was something special if you have to roll for it
...but twice? what were they thinking? lol

Well, we keep it in good clean fun. But the game is just full of little miss-adventures that like minded players( that don't take things, shall we say, personaly) have Fun with. Long Live Dane McCarthy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I realize recruitment is closed so I'm not asking to join. I just want to make some friends so I'm not trying to solo everything. When do you guys normally play? I need to find some adult people to play with or I'm gonna have to give up ddo.

I'm usually on weeknights central between 5 and midnight and weekends...who knows.

There is pretty much an active group on all the time. Quietest points are probably evening Aussie time but there are a small but dedicated group of people there too.

I put up quite a few LFMs because bizarrely I quite like the randomness of PUGs. And it is always worth a polite tell to one of the guild members to see if anything is going down.

Easiest way to find us (or any other people from a specific guild for that matter) would be to go to your social panel and the "Who" tab, then hit "Search" then sort by guild name, and navigate down to MAC (or whomever).
