BabbyDaddy for taking you into invaders
If it was a trap blame Torrentt or Bangum for springing the trap.
If the party wiped as soon as you entered the Dungeon blame Ghaldar for setting the difficulty on Elite.
Party wipe at the Titan will be Surrin's fault.
Beyond the grave runs go poorly....then Belthor forgot to use heal scrolls to keep you alive....
Your party wiped at the end fight in Prison of the Planes........Yup Kinkaid's fault for casting Solid Fog.

Other things that can happen and who to blame:
Your shield melted from bashing rust monsters......your own **** fault for pulling an Astargras!
Are you Lost? If yes you should not have followed Bangum.
Did your car get towed while playing DDO? If yes you can party with Meadbelly
Chains of Flame take 5 hours? If so you must have been in a group with Silvermayne.(or the end boss fell into the Lava AGAIN)

Am I allowed to have fun and make jokes?
Yes as long as the joke is cliche and "SO last year" so we can keep up. Remember we Mature folks often do not keep up with the latest lingo....

Just thought everyone needed a little blast from the past.

The key boss fell into the lava for chains of flame when I was there as well. After waiting for 30mins for no the GM reply, we eventually got the key ourselves from the lava. We were all so glad the one of the casters still had some sp left for a dd on an island as it took my cleric healing the 2 people who relayed the key to get it to the island. After that we had a party wipe at the end boss.

Chains of Flame, same thing happen to us when it first came out. The character in our PUG group with the key was in the middle of telling us how he's never had a problem in the quest, knew exactly where to go, and promptly fell into the lava. We never were able to get it out even after spending an hour on it - healing and such.

Not to be outdone, I was doing the same quest 2 weeks later with my guild, and just as I was relaying the story to them the guy with the key fell into the lava. Shock, amazement... apparently gullibility. The guy with the key traded it to someone else then purposely/accidentally fell into the lava. They made me sweat it out for about 10 minutes. Funny as all hell.

I wonder how many people other than MAC members actually read this thread.

I guess some people will read anything. Of course I say this and respond within minutes of the last post, what does that say about me?

    THE HISTORY OF THE DWARVES

In the beginning there was Mordax, the Great Forger. The Forger created many things: the earth and all that crept and grew upon it. But His favorite creations were those who were most like Himself: the Dwarves. Like Him, the Dwarves love the Earth: they make their homes deep below the ground and mine there for precious rock; they love to shape things with their hands, to build and create and forge; though not tall they are strong, and fearless and doughty in war. Their beards are their pride and joy.
Mordax the Forger placed the Eleven Fathers, with their mates, in far-sundered places in the Eastern Continent, each to found a great Mansion and Kindred. Thus it is said that every Dwarf belongs to one of Eleven Families.

Little lore is left in the lands of Shan Deral regarding the ancient Dwarven homelands in the Eastern Continent. Like many of other races, Dwarves joined in the Great Exodus to the West approximately 2000 years ago. At least, many did: none of the House of Zorax, for example, have ever been seen in the West.

I, Math son of Ironforge, have taken the task of assembling all known lore regarding the history of the Dwarven peoples. It is a difficult task. Each of the Eleven Families has its own lore and history, and know little about the others. Hence, in order for this history to be complete, I must interview a historian or loremaster from each of the Eleven -- if I can find one!

Without going too far into Dwarven Mythology at this point, let me say a few words about the Eleven Fathers. Traditionally, the names of the Families are the names of the Fathers. Thus, the eighth family is the House of Voltar, as the Eighth of the Fathers was named Voltar. How can I explain to others about the Families? To us it is more than a nationality, we feel it in our blood! It is as if we are all part of Eleven Greater Souls, passed down from father to son. Each member of one's family is like a brother or sister; each brother or sister is like a twin.

Here then, I have constructed an initial timeline of Dwarven History in Shan Deral. Following that, one may read essays and personal histories about the Families and other matters, written by myself and other prominent Dwarven Historians. I do eagerly accept any other submissions -- send me enchanted mail at math@beer.com. Thank you.
