Lets see... interesting stories.

- We did a naked TS run where we had to use whatever we got in the chest. That was fun running around on a sorc with 40% spell failure. even buffing became painful.

- Couple of us did a dragon run and my Pally got to hero her. Thank God we took the pillars down quick because it took forever for him to kill the dragon. Thanks to the rest of the group for not falling asleep.

- Ran a Elite Hound PUG 2 nights ago with Timing, Vall, and Finny. We completed first try with only me and the WF intimitank still up. Good time, very close.

- Have a one on one, timed chest loot run with Shrimpo tonight. Taking bets now. I'll give even odds.

I'm looking to maybe do the Necro Series 3 tonight if anyone is interested.

Ale... scotch... why limit yourself? I like to think of myself as a versatile dwarf.


1. Drink whats put in front of you. Then drink what was put in front of the guy next to you.

2. If it's free, make it a double.

3. Ale during the PvP matches. The yard cups made from troll leg bones are always a favorite. Holds more ale and doubles as a +3 adamantine club. Because getting your weapons back from coach-check can be a pain. Darn gnomes always stealing things.

4. Scotch for the after adventure get-togethers talking about the latest face-plant. Affrogate usually needs the tall glass to escape the memories.

5. Schnapps when entertaining that special furry faced female dwarven barbarian. Try the varieties from the good people in Searing Heights, very potent after taste. I think it's something in the water.

6. The rum in Three Barrel Cove is wonderful in the Fall, just after the summer plunder makes it way to the docks. Remember on 'Speak Like a Pirate Day' to get the commerative eye-patch. It makes all the WF men look like the WF women - quite amazing.

7. Looking for a caster on your next quest? During the interview, order the Dragon Vodka. Made from the remains of Velah it explodes on contact with fire-spec'd characters. Those that ignite and die instantly will be the one you want, just make sure to have a cleric handy.

8. I heard of a drink called Tequila, however ever time I try it the next morning I can't remember if it was good or not. Actually I can't remember anything from the night before. Must be old age. More research neded. BTW, when did I become a walking bllboard for Shorty's Bar? Did I get paid?

9. Gin. Not a favorite nor even on most tavern's list. However, on the full moon, in the desert, the gnolls all gather around their secret still and make some of the best home-brewed gin in all of Stormreach. Bring a jar of kobald eyeballs/olives, ask for Joe, and keep away from the women. Gnoll women have strange things happen to them during a full moon - right Astar?

10. No self-respecting Dwarf wants to be seen drinking wine. My only excuse is that falling asleep during a Reaver run you might have to drink with the sorc who finished the quest and woke you up so you could get those nice boots... and The Portable Hole only serves wine. Order the '65 Grappa, click the heels of those new boots twice and let the fun begin.


Remember it's not what you drink, but how you drink it. Drink a lot and often - hangovers just don't happen themselves.

And make sure to always drink responcibly... keep a cleric on retainer.
