Default suggestions on a 28 point build for pally

I am looking to build a pally and still fairly new to the game so not familiar with all the feats and such. I am looking to make a pally with a 28 point build or maybe a drow build. Does anyone have any suggestions on what stats should be his current stats as I had built him now are.

    str 15
    dex 10
    con 10
    int 10
    wis 14
    cha 19

and this is a drow 32 point build.

My questions are what race is the best for a pally and what starting stats are best for a good support tank as well as support healing?

19 CHA is a bit hit for starting stats on a Paladin.
I would reroll for 16-17 STR, and 14-ish CHA

The general consensus is that 20 CHA at the end should be a good target, and anything over that is just gravy.

Assuming only +4 Stat Items, other 'easy to obtain items', and no Tomes...I would think that something like:

    Drow Level 14 Paladin

    STR: 17 + 3 (Levels) + 4 (Item) = 24 (+7)
    DEX: 10 + 2 (Item) = 12 (+1) - Max for Full Plate
    CON: 12 + 4 (Item) = 16 (+3)
    INT: 10
    WIS: 12 + 4 (Item) = 16 (+3)
    CHA: 15 + 3 (Paladin's CHA 3) + 4 (Item) = 22 (+6)

    Hit Points: 20 (Heroic Durability) + 140 (Pal 14) + 42 (Con Bonus) + 10 (Draconic Vitality) = 212 (+16 w/ Toughness & +50 w/ Paladin's Toughness 4 = 278)

    Spell Points
    145 - Paladin 14 Base
    69 - Wis Bonus
75 - Wizardry 3 Item (Easy to find)
    60 - Energy of the Templar 3
    -------------------------------------
    349 Spell Points

    To Hit:
    --------------------
    14 - BAB
    7 - Strength Bonus
    5 - +5 Weapon
    3 - Divine Favor
    4 - Greater Heroism
    1 - Bless
    --------------------
+34 to hit (Add Bard Buffs, Haste, Recitation, etc for higher)

    Saves:
    Fort / Ref / Will
    +11 / +6 / +6 - Pal 14 Base
    +3 / +1 / +3 - Stat Modifiers
    +6 / +6 / +6 - Divine Grace
    +3 / +3 / +3 - Resistance +3 Item (Easy to find)
    ------------------------------
    +23 / +16 / +18 - Standing & Unbuffed (+4 to all w/ Greater Heroism)

Yeah, between the saving throw enhancements, a CHA item, and the Paladin CHA enhancements, starting with a 19 CHA is overkill. Dworkin's stat layout for a drow pally is very powerful, I would go with that.

Also dont pay attention to the having to start with 14 WIS to cast pally spells. Its nonsense. With an item you meet the requirements no problem. Even with 12 WIS to start and a +2 item you can cast all the lovely spells.

I like that guys build, good, even spread of stat points...very nice.

Id defo build it something like that.

The reason I stuck with 14 WIS is his stated desire for some healing ability. I agree that usually 14 starting WIS is overkill... heck, I rarely suggest rolling a Paladin with more than 10 WIS (often 8 or 9 starting)... but for the Healing Role, I went with a higher starting score for the more SP.

If anything, I'd drop the WIS and put it into CON... you just can't have too many Hit Points nowadays!
