Proposal: Repeated a 6 month old raid 25+ times? Let us skip prereq quests.

My proposal: If you have run a 6 month (3?) old raid more than 25 times let us skip the prereq. quests but still necessitate pre-raid.

Thus if you wanted to do Mod1(Velah) or Mod3 (Lailat) raids you can skip doing von1-4 and Wiz King/Burning City/Vulk Spiral.
While I'm a big fan of the mod1 and mod3 prereqs after doing them many many times they've just become a chore even though we can waltz through them at lev14.
25+ repetitions of a 6 month old raid on the same character =account exempt from repetitions.

Hmm maybe let people skip von 1-4 and such but not just because they powergamed the raid.

No rep count is needed. Once you're flagged for VON and the DQ that ought to be it. My guild has regular, weekly Stormreaver and Titan raids that are always very well attended. People enjoy doing the raids quite a bit, even if the loot can be not so wonderful (2x ventilated bracers? oye!) .

Sure, we still run Velah and the DQ too, just not nearly as often because after doing both so many times the flagging really gets old. I realize that it does not take THAT long, but come on, we've been there and done it to death. Let us raid!

That might be acceptable, but only if your character is also significantly above the level of the preraid quests; +2 levels or higher, basically. Skipping them can be OK if you're just skipping something that's no longer a challenge anymore.

Fair enough, odds are if you've run the quests 25+ times you'd be 2 levels above the raid prereq quest level

Thats basicly what I said op said if you have been doing it for awhile you should get to skip it, why should there be a condition von 1-4 is a pain doing once hmm how about once you do it elite you can skip them?
