Sorry, I raid on a regular schedule and don't have anywhere NEAR the raid loot that I would like to have (I've sat out more rolls so that those who need the loot have a shot than I've actually rolled), but this just isn't a reason to whine and cry.

You wanna convince me? Get me some screen shots of the horrible loot that will be dropping. Go to Risia and run the dragon and show me the screen shots. Oh, and one screen shot won't do it. Three screen shots might start to convince me.

Until then, for heaven's sake stop acting like cry babys with all the name calling and all the "I hate you because you have a different opinion" posts.

While I am in favor of the new system, he is right.

In order to get the same amount of raid loot as the current system on average, you MUST have a full raid of 12 people. Anything less than 12 will drop you chances of getting raid loot below that of what it is currently. Personally I think a 1 in 5 chance to get raid loot is a better option as 10 people in a raid is a more realistic number for groups.

There is already a mechanic in the game to eliminate this from happening under the old system. The glyphs can be randomly assigned to two people at the time of completion.

haha, no. While a lead designer's job is to balance the game as a whole, each system designer (and each level designer/content guy) is responsible for their own little bit of the game. So as such, I balance spells/enhancements, graal has items and treasure, and Eladrin runs around going "raaar!" a lot. I think he does monsters.

I simply don't think that the new system will be much better is all...
Lots and lots of the chest loot can be better for most people then any raid loto.
