At this point the tome is for trade only, i have enough plat for 6 toons and i really need a +2 tome in str or cha.

The +6 item is nice and all but not enough for me to trade, right now.

Still for trade. i really thoguht that a cleric would snag this tome right up. I am in awe that a +2 tome has this little value--hell maybe ill just use it!

Its not really that it doesnt have value. Its the fact that what your looking for is limited (and rightfully so). Super rare items are hard to unload cause they warrant super rare items in return.

It's not that it isn't a fair trade. As Bombalo stated, you are looking for a very specific item in return.

You are looking at a VERY limited market. Consider how many people even have a +2 strength or charisma tome. Now pare that down to how many people would be willing to trade one. Now pare that down to how many people would be willing to trade it for a wisdom tome.

It's not impossible. I am sure someone is out there who may be willing to trade, but remember +2 tomes are not something you can go down and pick up at the corner store.

Sorry for hijacking but I just had to ask pfannes79...how do you figure he'll be able to get a str or chr tome alot easier with an int tome? Maybe you know something I don't so I figured I would ask. I'm all ears...and ready for debate.

Edit: pfannes: If you really are getting offers from wizards and rogues for your +2 int tome (I can believe that) and they are offering you a +2 str or con tome for it ( I would find that hard to believe - not saying it's not possible, just don't believe it's probable), there is always the possibility of a 3 way trade that way everyone wins.
